Beaker does not break with boiling water. Very sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. Good thickness. I use it to melt soy wax. It works great. Good price. Good quality glass not thin. I definitely recommend.

Other vendors packed beakers I ordered so poorly they were in pieces. This one is packed well and did the job.

If amazon is your only option and you need something ASAP these are definitely going to work.Can withstand heat and I have had them last for up to a year of fairly standard lab work before noticing them deteriorating.That said they are expensive and I have been able to source thicker and far less expensive per piece options when ordered from trusted vendors outside the US.

I purchased this for some nickel plating I am doing. It's not cheap thin stuff. I like the quality. It reminds me of 8th grade science class for some reason LOL. So good memories and it looks super cool like I have a laboratory in my garage!
