The perfect hybrid camera!
The Fujifilm X-H2S in my opinion is the perfect hybrid camera. Fujifilm has made really thoughtful decisions on the design of this camera. They have gone with a stacked sensor and the same resolution as the previous generation. The stacked sensor means a very fast sensor readout, making this a great camera for silent shooting, sports and video. Keeping the resolution at 26MP reduces the possibility of noise creeping up associated with fast sensor. So a fantastic compromise, that doesn’t bow down to marketing. We as photographers are better for that. This is an excellent camera for both photographers and videographers! A quick background: I am a Sony full frame photographer that has been using every version of the A7R series. I currently have the A7R IV. I did have the Fujifilm X-H1, but regretfully sold it a couple of months ago to focus on one system. I was on vacation in Europe when the Fujifilm X-H2S was announced, so I really did not get the time to follow the release. On getting back and curating some of the pictures from my vacation, I realized some of my favorite photographs were from the X-H1. This led me to take a second look at the X-H2S. This camera is exactly the balance that I was looking for and the bonus is the excellent Fujifilm “film” simulations. The picture look great straight out of the camera. The Eterna video profile also really reduces the need to process video on the computer. It just looks great. The high speed readout of the sensor makes silent shooting practical and videos looking great. This is not just a great sports and video camera, but a great all around camera. I think it is worth the asking price over competitors at the same level, even full frame ones. It’s been a week since I purchased and will update this review as I gain more experience with it. I am tempted to get another body in the near future. It’s that good. Highly recommended! Update 3/23/2025 After all this time, I still feel this the most balanced hybrid camera made across all formats (full frame/35mm, APS-C, 4/3) This is among the few cameras that can record ProRes internally. Not even the A9II, A9II with full frame sensors at significantly higher price can do this. While I love my Sony system, I depend on the X-H2S as a hybrid for double duty as an exceptional video and photo machine. The build quality and weather protection is exceptional. The top LCd is great to get a Quick Look at my settings. The X-H2S hs aged beautifully and this model is still extremely powerful and balanced compared to the cameras released in the last couple of years. The CFexpressB slot is great for high capacity cards to do double duty for video and burst photo shooting. I use the second sd card slot for Heif/jpeg. If you want a future proof camera, this is the closet you can get.

A fast professional camera with excellent image quality.
Camera was new and came with all the accessories. The camera itself is amazing. The custom settings c1 to c7 allows for quick change in setup. The sensor read out is fast and image quality is very good. There are way too many settings and can be overwhelming. I have only got to know the photography setting for now. The video settings are even more. I did not see any autofocus issues. I do have the latest 7.2 firmware. Have been using it with the new 500mm f5.6 and the autofocus is snappy. The auto focus setting needs to be tuned to your photography and it will work well. Trying out different setup helps. Then just assign it to a custom setting C1 to C7.

Fast & Fun
Purchased this camera 2.5 years ago to work alongside my Sony bodies (A9 / A1). The body has a really nice grip, the EVF is outstanding, the battery life is great, and overall this camera is a performer. I've had alot of time to grow more into this camera over the years and this was a stellar purchase. Based on the cameras current performance with latest firmware, I rate it a solid 8/10 and trust this camera in most professional settings.

Great Hybrid Fuji cam for personal and professional work.
Picked this camera up as a new main photo/video hybrid camera. Autofocus is way better than the x-h1. I love the images I'm getting from this camera and I'm excited to put it to work for me.

Fantastic camera, but check your sellers ratings
I’m hesitant to write a super-positive review, because reading other feedback from transactions with Willoughbys, it looks like I dodged a bullett! The “like new” X-H2S I received was unregistered, flawless, and completely reset to zero shutter actuations. I’m over the moon about this camera! The autofocus (in firmware v7.30) is so much more reliable than the X-H2! I mean, same body, completely different camera! So happy with this purchase. I was tempted to wait for whatever comes next to be announced, but this camera is so good, it’ll cover my needs for years! Check your sellers ratings though! Willoughby’s revies seem to be 70% happy like me or 30% furious because they got shoddy equipment and charged a 25% restocking fee! Luckily I won the lottery here.

Best Hybrid Camera for professional
As a passionate photographer, I recently upgraded to the Fuji X-H2S, which has elevated my photography experience. This mirrorless camera is a masterpiece, combining cutting-edge technology with the classic design elements that Fujifilm is renowned for. The camera's autofocus system is lightning-fast and accurate, whether I'm shooting stills or capturing 4K video. The weather-sealed body gives me the confidence to shoot in various conditions. The intuitive layout of buttons and dials ensures a seamless shooting experience, and the articulating touchscreen is a welcome addition for framing shots at challenging angles. The in-body image stabilization (IBIS) is a game-changer, providing steady shots even in challenging shooting conditions. While the battery life is generally good, carrying a spare is always wise, especially during extended shooting sessions. However, the USB-C charging option provides a convenient backup when power outlets are scarce. Its blend of exceptional image quality, advanced features, and a user-friendly interface make it a worthwhile investment for anyone serious about their photography.

Worth every cent.
I shoot mostly automotive and racetrack photography and this camera did not disappoint. It was fast enough to lock on cars with the new car tracking feature and made it out unscathed when i had to shoot in the pouring rain. Fujifilm out did themselves with this camera and i definitely see Fujifilms being more common in sports photography in coming years if they keep on this path. My only annoyance I had with this camera is flog 2. The lowest iso you can select is 1250. It made the darks in my videos grainy at times, although easily reversible with denoising tools.

La mejor camara de la linea fuji que he tenido, aunque la curva de aprendizaje muy larga, la Xt5 si tuviera el sensor apilado y grabara 120 fps, esta ni existiera.

There's a reason this camera is fujifilm's flagship. Best UI, best video quality, and best build quality. Although the price isn't very competitive for aps-c sensors, I've really enjoyed using this camera as a Fujifilm enthusiast

Upgraded from my Fuji XT-3 to this and was definitely worth it. The perfect hybrid system. With incredible video features and wonderful photo capabilities - it’s the only camera you need to create stunning, almost cinema like images. Just remember if you want to get the full video capabilities of this system you will need to invest in a CF Express card so it does add to the cost. Also - there is no battery charger included so will have to get one of those as well. But we’ll worth it!

Gran desempeño, auto foco suficientemente decente, las simulaciones son definitivamente su gran plus, grabar en prores también es una maravilla si te dedicas al video.

This camera can pretty much do it all. I use mostly for video. I love the internal 10bit recording and the Prores option. SD cards and Cfexpress cards are not cheap , but worth it if you want to get the most out of this camera though. But between that and an Atomos Ninja V recorder, at least you have options. Nice work Fuji.
