Blue Ray portable player
It was easy to program and get set up. Great sound and clear picture. I'm very happy with it

Great Portable Entertainment
I purchased this player for use at my monthly infusions. I have tons of DVDs and Blu-rays. I used it yesterday and it worked great. The screen is large and the color is good. It’s a very clear picture. I say that angling the screen back and forth does change the picture’s color saturation so keep that in mind. I was also indoors in a hospital environment with glaring fluorescent lighting. Using it outdoors or in a darkened room may change my results significantly. The player is easy to use and to set up. I guess it can be connected to the internet via hard wire but doesn’t appear to have any WiFi capabilities, that’s a slight bummer. The player comes with a remote but you don’t necessarily need it as the controls on the player itself can control everything. It does have disc recall so you can either start over from the beginning or continue from where you stopped play. That’s a handy function. The controls are very intuitive and I didn’t read the manual that came with it and I was able to set it up and I’m not tech savvy. The body is made of lightweight plastic and while that keeps it light it gives the player an overall feel of cheapness. It’s a fairly large device so be warned. If you want a large screen it’s going to cost you in sleekness, this isn’t a very svelte device. While large it is light so it’s easy to haul around in a computer bag. The screen does do a flip around so you can lay it flat like a tablet which could be handy for kids or in an environment that’s tight on space. I had it resting on a pillow which I do not recommend as it got hot. Just a tip, keep it in a position to ventilate. The one big con or what I believe is the biggest problem with this player is a lack of battery monitoring. There is no way to determine if the battery has been fully charged or how much battery life is left. My infusion took two hours and I was able to watch a couple of episodes of Downton Abbey with no problems but it would have been nice to know if I could have continued watching if I wanted. Without any battery monitoring system you are in the dark with how long you can watch and whether leaving it on the charger has given you a full battery or not. Since it’s a portable device it would be nice to know where I stand on battery power. Manufacturer please take note. Overall it’s a handy device that does its job. It’s quick easy entertainment whether you’re traveling or just stuck at the hospital. It would probably work great for kids on a long car ride. I also plan to take this player with me on camping trips in my van. It’s a great alternative to my power sucking smart tv and Blu-ray player permanently mounted on the wall. I highly recommend this model of player even though it was a little pricey.

Great blue ray player
It is a really great blue ray player. Except that the sound quality could be better. Other than that, very nice.

Powerful. Great screen. Lightweight.
Easy to use. Excellent screen. Did have problem with charge indicator. Mine went from red to off. Didn't go to blue like directions said it's supposed to go to to indicate it's close to being fully charged.. Works just fine though! Lightweight. Good value for money! Good sound.

I tested both the Wonnie 16.9 and GOnavidio 17.6 Blu-ray players so you don’t have to
First of all, these devices aren’t that different. The control layout, functions and software are the same apart from the opening screens. They are both made in Hong Kong by Fangor so why not call them that? Wonnie sounds like the nickname a 3-year old male would give his penis (“Mommy, I got my Wonnie stuck in my zipper!”) and GOnavidio sound close to Gonad Video, which I think I prefer anyway. The Japanese auto industry maintained its dignity in naming its models after Italian or Southwestern cities for decades, so why does China, with its long association with the UK not do the same with the vast English vocabulary to choose from (Gristle, perineum, Giggleswick, smegma)? If they called these products the Smegma range of Blu-Ray players, I’d order a container of them tomorrow. I digress. The bottom line is even in efficient production lines, things like screens vary. The Gonad screen color balance was muddy (especially greens), as was the aspect ratio which stretched the vertical slightly, making actors look taller and slimmer. This does not bother some people(Marvel Video fans, small children in the back of SUVs) but it bugs the hell out of me. The Wonnie had the superior color and no distortion so was the winner. These things are subjective, however, and may vary from individual unit to unit so you may have to order several and get the one that pleases you the most. You can theoretically change the Brightness/Contrast/Hue/sharpness in the Setup menu, but their effects are slight The speakers of both models are tinny and evoke 1940’s railroad public address systems (“ The treme on plufmo siz is boon fo Ner Sore via Buctor and Trenon”). Well, I exaggerate, but even inexpensive laptops these days have decent speakers. Use earphones or earbuds which work great with wither machines. It’s a bit subjective, but for me the Gonad was a little too large, and it’s screen not acceptable, so Wonnie’s more petite stance and superior screen makes it the the keeper. Should I use it on Jury Duty, however, I will put black tape over the Wonnie logo emblazoned on the device’s top. Or maybe not. What lawyer would select a juror with a blatantly displayed Wonnie?

Great color. I use headphones and the sound is great. I worried if all other DVDs would play beside blue ray and they do. For me, the screen size is perfect. Really satisfied with the product.

I have recently purchased a Wonnie blu-ray player. After finding an american style charger I thought it would not be compatible for use in Australia. I was incorrect. With the little battery charge left, I discovered it does play blu-ray and DVDs purchased in Australia. All I need now is a charger compatible with Australian power points / outlets

I am very happy with this product. The sound could be a little louder but I attached a portable speaker and it is perfect. Love that I can take this anywhere if I need it.

This compact movable DVD player is exactly what I was looking for. I wish that the speakers were louder. A set of long, wired ear buds would be appreciated. I wish that a much longer charging cord could be included. I leave it charging for an hour+ while using it, but it barely holds a charge for the next dvd.
