The Sharpsafe 3 Litre 5th Generation Sharps Bin that I purchased is an excellent choice for safe and reliable sharps waste disposal, ideal for diabetics, home injections or low-quantity professional healthcare settings i would think. Some people could find the lid a little tricky the first time, but once in place, it works perfectly. Its fully compliant with relevant standards etc. and of course the colour makes it obvious what it is for... so does the buisiness.

Partner currently having to inject for a medical condition, so this is a safe place to store used needles, until ready for disposal. Upside for me, when doing DIY, a blunt Stanley knife blade now has a place to go too! This box is somewhat large, so if you are only going to have a few items to deal with, go down a size. Remains good value for money & local chemist will take off your hands when full, if you ask nicely!

Apart from the lid being difficult to open/close, the item is fine. Ordered larger one as the small ones seem to fill quickly (diabetes).
