Scanned my 2011 128i. It worked great, easy to use. Will save me a lot of money.

Works as it should. It helped us diagnose what the drivetrain malfunction light was on our bmw to know what we needed to fix. Even gives codes down to like faulty lights and the recirculation sensor not working. It is very easy to use, was obviously compatible with our vehicle. Its really cool because it gives you the code and if you click on it it’ll give you a google search of what it is so you dont have to keep going back and forth between apps. My only issue but not really an issue, just assumed it would, is i thought it would stay up so i could continue to look at the codes inside, but as soon as you turn the car off and it “disconnects” you cant do anything with it. It has to be paired to see past scans and codes, but if thats its only fault id say thats pretty good.

Registered a new battery replacement. Different battery from what was already installed. Worked better than using BimmerCode app. This tool with no issues activated and deactivated EPB fast. Read and clear codes pretty good. It does feel like good quality for my bimmer.

This has been a game changer for to help diagnose and fix my daughter's Mini R56 Cooper S. It is very easy to use and has paid for itself already many times over by avoiding costly diagnostic time or misdiagnosed repairs. Clearing codes is very easy with this scanner. It also serves as a check to make sure the shop is not inventing issues with costly component replacements. If you plan to keep your BMW or Mini I strongly recommend having one of these in your toolbox.

It's worth the price. The size is perfect. It performs as expected and is easy to use. It's easy to connect and use right out of the box. I reset my faulty sunroof code, oil change service reminder, and checked the charging status of my battery. Compatibility was perfect and I regret the delay in my purchase of this product.

2012 Mini Countryman This reader works well for me. Plug and play for the most part and essential for the DIY mechanic. The typical parts store cannot accurately read the BMW or Mini Cooper codes. Their scanner is too simple. I picked this one up to reset my battery and have used it to read/reset codes. If you are not DIY, you can have an education on what your car needs before you head to the mechanic. When it picks up a code it will link the user to the proper part and some AI articles on common issues/repairs. You can leave it plugged in and perform a scan at will or while analyzing the issues. It has a feature to read the battery during the start up cycle so you can find the battery’s ability to keep up with the heaviest load it will have as well as the charging ability of the system. There are probably some limitations of this one over the fancier (and more expensive) units. The professional level scanners will offer some reprogramming this one does not perform. I just reset a lot of codes after some deep repairs. This one works well for me and is reasonable in cost. If I need that bigger, badder unit, I’ll go to my favorite mechanic.

Used it to connect the new battery to be read but it did not make the changes within the vehicle. So car works but the warning signs keep coming up
