Compression Packing Cube, Small

There are many different packing cubes that all seem to do the job. Why pay a premium for a name brand like Thule? Good question. In this case, my answer would be three things: quality of materials, quality of construction, and feature set. These Thule cubes are made of a high quality nylon material that feels both extremely sturdy and moisture proof. When one of my bottles of liquid spilled into my suitcase on a recent trip, my clothes in the Thule packing cubes remained completely clean and dry. There's another benefit as well. My recent trip was to India. I love India but the air is...pungent. When I returned home, my wife immediately noticed that even the ziplock bags I brought with me had absorbed an odor. But neither these packing cubes nor the clothes inside were affected. The other great thing about the material is its translucence. The product photos probably exaggerate it a little bit but you are able to tell what is inside a cube based on color and to a lesser extent shape. If an article of clothing is tight against the top, bottom, or side of the cube, it is easy to identify. (FWIW, the color of the cube is a creamy white.) The zippers and pulls on these cubes are robust and the seams are solid. This is important with a compression design that necessarily puts more stress on everything. I was surprised by how much these cubes held before they were compressed—much more than the older Eagle Creek cubes they are replacing—and how well they compressed their contents. It's worth noting that I did not roll the contents as Thule recommends. Instead, I placed the cube above my shirts and pants as I folded them. This allowed me to get the width exactly right. Then I placed the top of each item into the cube and folded them repeatedly to match the height of the cube. Even after compressing the contents, I was surprised at how wrinkle-free they were when I unpacked in my hotel room. These are the first packing cubes I have owned that compress their contents. This feature proved quite useful. I wouldn't buy another set without it. In the past, the lid of my suitcase has served to compress its contents. This is a much easier approach. The reason I bought these Thule cubes wasn't actually because of any of the things I have written about. It was because the dimensions of the Medium size and the Small size happened to fit perfectly together in my new suitcase. Everything else has been a great bonus. The bottom line is that I am delighted with these cubes and recommend them without reservation. In fact, my only concern is the way my wife has been eyeing them for herself...

Very sturdy, big, and smooth YKK zippers. Structured design, quality fabric, and great zippers make compressing the cubes a breeze. Perfect for packing and compressing fluffy winter clothes!

These packing cubes come in two sizes. The small size comfortably fits an entire outfit for me, while the large can fit a few days worth. I have these in both colors and sizes and find myself using the small to transport a change of clothes for the gym, and the large for pants when traveling. The ripstop material is extremely durable alongside color-coded YKK zippers (one for unzipping, the other for compression/expanding). I've used this daily for months and the packing cube shows absolutely zero signs of wear. They act as little "drawers" when traveling and are excellent for keeping everything organized and compact.

I love this Thule compression cube which I got on sale. And now I got another one small and two in medium. I learned about it in YouTube videos that it helps with carryon packing. Recently went on a trip and didn’t want to carry checked bag or carryon and I tried it with my backpack. It really works! Was able to pack my 2-3 days of lingeries + several tank tops and a pajama in one single small size cube. The only thing I wish they have is the compartment to store dirty clothes. I think it’s an easy fix on my end too - just to get another one for dirty ones. I love its white and sheer enough to see what’s in there. The zipper is quite strong and has a nice handle for push and pull. Organization is self explanatory and easy. For me I don’t care the wrinkles on my lingeries but I think it would be easy to avoid those

I am a "packing cube" skeptic. I have asked a lot of folks; "what's the point, don't they just take up precious space?" I purchased this item to pack some spare clothes in my carry on in case my luggage is delayed. I was glad that I had read the review that said "not to expect miracles", but I decided to try one out to see if it would be beneficial.. Well...I believe that it is! It doesn't work miracles but it definitely compresses enough to make it a smaller package & probably, in all honesty would allow an extra blouse or pair of shorts, in the same amount of space as without the cube. I wear a women's size medium, and I was able to fit a pair of underwear, a camisole, a t-shirt, 2 sleeveless blouses and a pair of Bermuda shorts in the small size cube (I probably could have fit another pair of underwear & scarf or maybe another sleeveless blouse if I really tried). I can't attest for durability or sturdiness yet, but it definitely seems like a quality product.

I have a number of packing cubes from well known and unknown brands, and by far this one has material that is the thickest and least flexible. I have never had any problem with it, and I suspect I won't in the future. But actually the slightly softer fabrics work fine too. And this is very expensive.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I"m completley obsessed with these packing cubes! I've used many and none have been as sturdy as these! what I also love about them is how compact they are and in my carry on, just on one side I can fit 2 stacks of these in 3 rows!

I bought four of these and they work well when using a smaller bag as the personal item on airplanes. I was able to pack for a week's vacation using only a small 16x10x8 bag. I've always found the quality of Thule products excellent and these cubes are no exception.
