My granddaughter loves monkeys. I was very pleased with the item & it appears to be good quality & the toy was pictured well in the ad. I wish I could say more good things to and about you but Amazon has informed me I cannot comment on the seller even if I just wanted to say thank you. I also can’t comment on price, the packaging of the item, and how the item appeared when it arrived. I am very sorry but if I write how well you - the seller did they will make me edit the review or just not allow me to do a review. Personally I think Amazon should write their own product reviews then there is no worry I might compliment a seller and/or how the seller handled the transaction. I hope you understand that this is my way of telling you that while I am being monitored, I did appreciate you & the transaction.

this product did NOT work....am reordering??

Very cute monkey. I thought it doesn't work until I discovered hidden button on left side of his tummy. If you press it then it beeps and starts working. Didn't see any about it on the webpage. It came without instruction.

No instructions on how to program monkey with the message

I bought this because I saw it on Documental, the TV show with comedians competing against each other. This talking monkey thing appeared on one episode and had me crying because I was laughing so hard. I searched on Amazon for a repeating monkey, and this item popped up.Well, this thing looks the same, but is nowhere the same in functionality - this monkey requires you to speak or make a sound for a second, at best, then it will repeat it at a slightly higher pitch. The monkey on Documental could record a few seconds, quite easily, and seemed a bit more convenient in functionality. IMO, this a a cheap knock-off, not fully worth the price. If it was $10 then maybe it would be ok, but not at $18. I suspect the one that appeared on Documental was made in Japan and not cheap at all.

It was a super gift for my daughter’s 58th birthday. She’s always saying that she’s not my trained monkey. Because she makes me laugh 😂. Now she can record her voice and I can hear her whenever I want to. ❤️

The media could not be loaded. This is sooooo cute! I got it for a friend who is turning 38.. it's not only for kids. And it works great, the sound is perfect. Amazing buy!

It's cheaply made and doesn't work. I was going to gift this for my daughter's birthday. Put the batteries in and try to do a recording and it literally just beeps. It doesn't move or do anything else. I missed the return window so I'm stuck with it.
