Excellent flavor. Easy to prepare. It’s near sushi quality. I literally steam this and have a versatile base for almost any dish. It’s a medium sticky rice and not highly gummy like higher gluten rice. I would suggest this for any kitchen or cuisine. A must have stable in any kitchen. Use with kimchi, chicken, pork, beef, sushi, pickled veggies. Really the best I have tasted. Pricing is also a bargain compared to h mart or other grocery stores.

Nishiki is an Excellent medium grain rice. Has cooking directions on the back of this bag. I put it in my rice cooker and it's easy and convenient. It's clean. I rinse it just one time when I've got it measured in the rice cooker. Has a recipe on the side of the bag to make Easy California Sushi Rolls. So , yes this is considered a sticky rice . It's moist and flavorful.My family has used this brand since I was a child and I am 65 now. I highly recommend buying and cooking with this product.

I have purchased this rice several times. I always go back to it. It's also the best price I can find. Locally this very bag is literally twice the price in the store. I admit to being very picky about white rice and this is my favorite. It is a medium grain, so it's sticky when it cooks up. I never measure it. PRO COOKING TIP: a Japanese friend taught me, after washing - which is "rinsing" your rice -pour into the rice cooker pan, then add water while having two fingers pointing down into the pan. When the water reaches your second knuckle - stop adding water. It will be perfect every time no matter what kind of rice you are cooking. Trust the process, it really works! This rice is delightful and everything you hope a sticky white rice will be. I keep my rice in the freezer - it's fine to use right out of the freezer and keeps it fresh longer. Why only 4 stars? Because the bag I received expires in just a few months. I would prefer at least one 1 year. That being said, for the price savings, I will continue to purchase this way. I just hope they will get better at rotating out older products. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I decided to try this rice and I’m glad that I did. I cooked this rice in a rice cooker and it came out perfect. It wasn’t sticky or gummy at all. It takes about 15 minutes in my rice cookers and it has a nice aroma. Clean up is easy also. It doesn’t stick to the pot and it cooks up so light and fluffy. It has a great taste and I love it with my red beans and sausage. I have made this one of my staples and it’s in my subscribe & save list now. Highly recommend.

Habia leido algunas reseñas negativas con relacion a que el producto venía con insectos pero decidí arriesgarme y creo que fue un acierto enorme. El producto llegó a tiempo y bien embalado. El empaque venía impecablemente limpio, nignuna traza de suciedad o cualquier otro tipo de residuos, parecía recien salido de fabrica, quizá tuve suerte de recibir un producto de un lote muy reciente. En cuanto al arroz como tal, es una maravilla para preparar sushi. Solo hay que seguir las instrucciones de lavado y cocimiento, no hay pierde. RECOMENDABLE 100%
