Nice whiskey
Bonded Jack with the full flavour of proper whiskey. Cinnamon honey and oak . The blend is different from typical Jack Daniels . Lots of rye and barley and only hint of corn. I prefer traditional bonded Jack Daniels but if you like Scotch AND bourbon you will find JD Red Label quite interesting . Definitely great quality and enjoyable ( experimental ) American Whiskey . Nice bottle for JD collectors ( a true tribute to old times ) perfect as a gift for the Scotch drinkers . Goes well with cigar.

Premessa: il JD non è più quello che bevevo 30 anni fa ... (ne ho 50). Se qualcuno vuol avvicinarsi a quell'aroma a quel profumo deve passare direttamente ai single Barrell che ricorda in buona parte quel sapore. Veniamo a questo Triple Mash: Bottiglia come sempre molto bella ed evocativa, solo per questo vale la pena comprarla (ho trovato una offerta a 29.00 € ed ho subito approfittato) Il sapore è deciso, molto alcolico, parliamo quasi di un full proof. Il sapore deciso è data dalla maggiore componente del Rye whiskey (ovvia JD Rye) miscelata al JD base con minor aggiunta di acqua. Per chi ama questi sapori decisi sicuramente resterà felicemente sorpreso. Nulla a che vedere con i sapori complessi dei Whisky scozzesi ma si lascia bere con minore impegno, piacevole in compagnia di buon amici o anche da soli. Che dire: PROSIT
