We use this lead all the time. The three pack is perfect to give to my kids to put in their backpacks. The size is perfect for the mechanical pencils we have and they are so easy to use. The quality is amazing due to the awesome design. They are so durable.

I have seen better lead

Not much to say. It's lead, seems to break less than the last brand I tried. I write small, works decent.
