I only needed it once to DIY repair a furnace ignitor switch. It was perfect and saved me time and $$$$ from flaky HVAC guys. It works well and is easy to use and who knows, I may need it again. I did have to DIY an tubing adaptor as this one was too small diameter for my ignitor switch.

I have a moderate level of technical skills and found this worked as described and was easy to set up and use. Can't speak for durability.

The meter can only resolve down to .12" h2o. It is not anywhere close to the .01 resolution the description states. I compared it with a known good meter of mine that read .025 and this meter displays .12. It might be good at higher pressure levels but is not useful for my needs due to this short coming. Edit:The company reached out and is working on making their product meet the stated threshold, and also refunded without needing a return. They are proactive and sincere about resolving customer issues.

I needed to adjust the blower in my HVAC unit for proper airflow. A pro grade manometer cost ten times as much as this inexpensive one, so I figured I'd give it a shot first. It got the job done for me, but it is nowhere near the specs claimed. For HVAC work (in the US) you need the inches water column units (inH20.) The listing claims has a resolution of 0.01, which is perfect. Except it doesn't. The actual resolution is 0.04, and it reads zero until the pressure reaches 0.12 minimum. This makes it just barely usable for properly designed duct work. It has an easy to read display with a bright backlight if you need it. Takes 3 AAA batteries. Comes with three no-name non alkaline ones. Don't leave them in the meter when you put it away! Basic operation is pretty intuitive if you understand manometers. For some of the advanced features you will need the manual. One of the extra features is the ability to turn off the auto-off "feature". I wish everything came with that! The manual is very understandable. Way way better than the average import gobbledygook. The included latex tubing is 2 pieces of 3mm ID by 20 inches long. Fits very tightly on the meter ports. Some 4mm silicone tubing I had also fit without leaks. Since it did what I needed for my one-off job despite the less than honest specs, I'm keeping it. If I needed to use a manometer more frequently, I would have returned this one and bought the pro grade.

This manometer provides very close reading to the much more expensive one that I have, especially for price $35!! Enabled me to solve a long standing problem with our HVAC system. The actual display of the reading is large with backlight, solid tool accurate and easy to use. I was able to get the job done. Saved me the cost of professional installation. Besides, I like the flexible rubber tubes and very nice package. Saved money and learned something from this shopping experience. I will recommend this item.Great investment!

Overseas product, QR barcode for manual will not load on internet and tried calling and received prompt that I would charged an international fees. I had to send back due to lack of US customer service

Upgraded from one to 5 for great proactive customer service, offered to send me a new unit (a year later) that they would precheck to assure it worked correctly. When i informed them i had already purchased another brand they offered a full refund. Very easy to use device. Used it to test a mobile LPG installation. The supplied tube does not connect to a standard LPG test point but the use of the supplied adaptor screwed into some standard LPG gas hose facilitated a connection to the test point. It's difficult to comment on accuracy but the readings were within the range expected to be delivered by an LPG propane regulator. In any case the test was simply to take the installation to a defined pressure and ensure that pressure was maintained. This unit was ideal as it is compact and space efficient. There is no water to spill. The other advantage is that this meter works for a propane LPG installation where the pressure can be up to 50 mbar compared to mains gas pressure of 23 mbar. A 12 inch water manometer generally can only measure up to around 30 mbar which is fine for mains and possibly butane 28-.
