Its not the highest quality meter I've seen but it works well and is easy to use. For the cost it's a great buy. I would buy again.

A wonderful instrument for testing maple sap. Very pleased with the ease of use.

I bought this to measure the brix of maple sap. This takes a very accurate measuring tool. This worked but it is very difficult to read the exact numbers. The lines in the view are very close together and hard to decipher. If you need a cheap, versatile tool where it doesn't need to be exact. This should work. The price is good.

This particular model is a little tough to see, but I am older and do not have very good eyes, so I may be the issue with that, it works perfectly and I will keep it, it has a very nice case and screw driver to adjust it with, very nice unit overall.

I bought this to check the coolant concentration in my machines,I should have chosen one with a higher limit. This scale only goes to 10 and the ideal coolant range for my application is 7.5, 20 or even 50 would be better, this was my oversight and no fault of the seller. This unit is easy to read and straight forward to calibrate. The cost was reasonable and the delivery time was fast. I haven’t had the unit for a long enough time to speak to the reliability over time but being that there are no moving or electronic components I am not concerned.

This Refractometer is junk, do not buy! I calibrated it with distilled water, worked once then the next day the numbers are floating around in it. could not use. Return window is closed for return.
