Battery has worked great, charges and last a lot longer than standard battery. Has even handled the extreme heat while filming just fine.

These official GoPro batteries are great: charge quickly and last longer, would not buy any other. They are dependable enough to take on trips abroad.

Fantastic buy! Bought this battery to have as an extra so that I can rotate batteries, charging one battery while using the other. Battery works just as well as the original.

Bought some 3rd party batteries at about half this price. Thought I was smart and about a year later all those batteries won't run for longer than 15 or 20 mins. I imagine GoPro won't warranty their stuff with 3rd party batteries and in the long run you aren't saving any money.

I know it’s hard to cough up a lot of money on a small battery- but these official ones last so much longer. No more carrying around 6 batteries when 1 will do!!

I’ve been so frustrated with Knockoff batteries failing and draining stupidly fast compared to the legit GoPro batteries I got this genuine one and it’s as advertised. Holds the charge and works as expected. My filming skills are still rubbish but one thing at a time.

Noticeably longer lasting charge than original blue batteries.

This battery lasts much longer than the standard battery and works better in the cold (i.e. when skiing). It lasts longer in my underwater housing so I typically don’t have to change batteries during a scuba diving day. Prefer it to the regular battery and worth the money in my book.
