Strong product that could replace welds in many cases.
Nice product. Dries super hard and grindable/sandable. Made my old sloppy joints on my 66 Mustang look much cleaner after replacement of firewall and cowl. I used this in conjunction with welding but it makes a wonderful joint sealer after the panels are welded up even if not used between the panels. It says to only use resistance (spot) welding, but I used plug welding and avoided the area of weld holes with the adhesive because it does burn a bit and liquifies if it gets too hot. Clamp or screw the panels all around to get them flush then weld. I think it's stronger than just welds. You can see similar products in comparison with spot welding on youtube. It has incredible holding power. I just wish it cost less. For my firewall and cowl I needed a little more than one tube, so what remains will be used on the floor pans. You can use it pretty sparingly (a thin bead) if welding along with the adhesive, and don't try to mig weld through this stuff as it splatters and makes for a poor weld.

The Adhesive worked as advertised
I patched some minor sub frame rust on my 1954 Belair. I cut new replace metal and clean the surfaces used the adhesive as to the instructions. Its been a few weeks driving the vehicle almost every day and so far so good. No breakdown of the metal patches or the adhesive.

Body repair on the cheap
This is the stuff I used to replace my rotted floor in my car. Follow directions exactly and your project will come out as strong as if it was welded. Make sure the rotted sections are CUT away and all bare metal surfaces are coated. That will prevent any rust from forming on the metal not in contact with each other. The purchase of Additional nozzles will be needed and a special caulking gun will be needed. When done you can put aside till next time but then another nozzle will be needed. It took me 2 items and 4 nozzles to replace my floor. You could stich weld it after, if you think it will be needed but for me it wasn't necessary. If you don't have a welder or the skills or the money to pay someone else to weld in your floor, then this is the way to go. This product is good for STRUCTUAL repairs. For panel repair there is a cheaper 3M product. Watch it being used on U-Tube

Read the directions.
My father-in-law is a body mechanic he remodels very high-end cars when they get in wrecks he is the one that told me about this stuff if you are not used to using a product like this it can be a little overwhelming you have to make sure you are on complete level ground. Make sure that you can get something to the back side of the hole or where you're putting the body filler and make sure you can control where it's going if you're feeling a hole you need a little extra to come out that hole so it feels both sides and then put it in the hole but keep it in a controlled environment it takes a little while for it to set up but after it cures you better hope to God you did everything right because there's no change again when it dries. Biggest tip I can give take your time check two or three times before applying this product.

Quality product, definite value
Used to fix metal roof bows in restoration of classic car. Great final product (set up strong, holds/bonds nicely, & color change state of set-up). Application (prime tube & fill application mixer nozzle) is a bit clunky and wasteful (my only ding).

Solid fix
I was in a car accident recently that damaged my fender apron. I was looking into welding a new apron on when I talked to the machinist at work. He said I'd be much better off using rivets. I did my homework and discovered that many auto manufacturers have switched from using weld to using structural adhesive for body repairs. In fact, this is said to be stronger than traditional welds, however it does "peel;" during an impact, so you should use it in conjunction with welds or rivets for more integrity. Obviously, I'm not a pro, so do your homework before you use this, but it worked brilliantly for me. I used this product with stainless structural rivets and it's rock solid!

Love 3M products
Product was on time and packed well. Anything 3M speaks for itself, don’t use off brands for something important.
