Lots of Wax
The wicks are WELL coated with the wax. They work well, but it does make using them with a wick lighter a little difficult at times as it can get sticky and not slide to lengthen the wick very easily. Thinner hemp wick than other brands I've used before and as mentioned, very well covered with wax, potentially could be considered too much at times.

MUST double up/triple up for candlemaking!!!
I used this wick to make a whole bunch of candles only to find out the wick wouldn't stay lit. BUT I only used one strand in each candle, and the description does say that you should twist together 2 or 3 strands of the wick for a better burn. So my advice is, read the description and instructions, and if you are new to candle making, make ONE TEST CANDLE and use it before you go making a whole bunch.

Works great, you just have to know how to use it.
I love this wick for my beeswax candles. Great price for the amount you get too. I’m glad I read the reviews first, as a lot of people stated it burns too fast because it’s so thin. I am new to candle making, so wasn’t sure what size to buy. I wanted to make multiple candle sizes, so it being thin hasn’t been an issue for me. I was tempted to buy the thicker version they have available, but was afraid it would be too thick for my small candles, so I’ve been doing what other reviewers suggested and twisting them together depending on the size I’m making. With taper candles I use as is. Small pillars and votives I twist two together. Large pillars I braid 3 together. It has worked perfectly for all of them and worth not having to wax them myself. In fact, a lot of the pure cotton wicking I found was more expensive, (even when you factor in using multiple layers) and not pre-dipped in wax. Will definitely buy again in the future, and I plan to try the thicker version out too since it works so well. Thank you!

Burns too quickly (UPDATED)
UPDATE: so i started burning the twisted wick and its perfect! Its not burning too quickly compared to before (but this may have to do with the size of the candle.... this is only my second candle) overall im happy with this product and ill definitely hold on to it for a while!I ordered this because the wick spool at micheals was expensive to what ive seen here. I used this in my first candle, a mix between an old candle and and a 5pb bag id also bought here. the wick burnd too quickly, as there is hardly any wick above the melted wax, the flame is tiny compared to store-bought candles, as well as if you moved the candle the wax below would extinguish the tiny flame. I just made another smaller candle and instead twisted an extra long wick as id heard they might help. Will update when i get the chance to burn the thicker, twisted wick. Also the candle is in fact labeled ‘made in china’ not that it matters to me

EricX Light Beeswax Hemp Wick, 200 ft Spool, 100% Organic Hemp Wick
This item is very thin and is well suited for votive and tea lights with a diameter of 2 inches or less. It burns relatively cleanly and has a good pool. It does not produce black smoke like cotton wicks and it doesn't mushroom like them either. However, when placing these inside a container, it is best to glue done the tab and secure the end with a wick holder by pinning or tying it because once the hot wax hits the wick it becomes like a limp noodle and will float all over the place. The latter means that you start out with a centered placement and by the time the wax solidifies, it's at the side of the container. Also, depending on the diameter size of your container, you may need to twist 2 or more strands together but that will make insertion into tabs a bit tricky. I have paid the same amount for 1/2 the amount of waxed cotton wicks. However, the cotton wick is 2x the thickness of this beeswax hemp product so divine from that what you will.
