I use a lot of journaling/folder dies that are 12 to 16 inches long. These plates are absolutely perfect for cutting ALL of my oversized dies. I was so excited when it arrived. I followed the instructions carefully and was disappointed that it hardly did any embossing when it did the cutting. I then followed the embossing instructions after cutting the item, but the die slipped a bit. My sister-in-law said the instructions were wrong and to place the A plate, then metal plate, the black magnetic plate, paper, die facing down, then top it off with A plate. It worked perfectly! Cut and embossed all in one step! Love it!Some friends & family received these gorgeous hand made one of a kind cards and wanted to make some too. So we've now started meeting once a week to make cards, ages 40-82!Love the delicate butterfly die cut that comes with the machine!
