I bought these to level a new refrigerator. I thought plastic shims would be better than wood shims which could compress under heavy load. I am sure the sims will not compress but the trade off was they were a bit brittle and I broke the first set. I suppose this is a feature after they are in place but still not sure if this was the best choice for a refrigerator or similar applications. I believe under light loads or just squaring a frame in a wall or something these shims are fine.

Worked as expected. Good thing about these shims are there plastic and should not rot.

Strong heavy duty shims

Since I live in an apartment, I could not anchor down my safe. However, with the help of these shims as well as a weight at the back of my safe, this keeps my safe from falling and everybody safe. It is a high-quality product and performs well. The appearance is minimal as they Design and thankfully, because they are so thin, they can be a thick as you want them to be That is a great value for your money and leads to a comfort of mind.

I thought they would be larger than that, I guess we’ll keep them for small jobs.

I have installed some aluminum stairs at my house which have sagged a bit - GRRRR! They were off between 3 and 4 degrees which makes them feel like I could slide. By using these shims under the stairs I was able to level them right up and they feel perfect. Good product - I think the quality is excellent, they drilled easily and I’m glad I ordered a bunch of them as I have a few other home projects where I think I can use them.

These are just like cedar shims only they won’t break down. Easy to cut to length and quite durable.

Love these shims. Have used mostly all I bought. Will buy again when in need. Used outdoors and thought wooden shims would weaken and wear out fast. Great buy!

They're a pain in the ass to cut and considering the price of cedar shims I really don't think these a worth it. You'll get a little bit more wooden shims for just 5$ at your local hardware store compared to 30$ for these.
