I wasn't familiar with this brand name, but I liked what I saw.
I bought this multi-tool for my brother-in-law's birthday. He's a retired mechanic who has a big selection of tools, so I wasn't sure if he already had something like this. Regardless, I bought it anyway. He's a man of few words, but he spent so much time examining it and checking it all out, so I could tell he really liked it. Also, I wondered if it would be a good quality based on the price, but I was very impressed. I have a manufacturing and engineering background, and decided I'm going to get one for myself.

Terrific multitool for the price
This tool does almost everything my Leatherman Wave can do. It's not as well made as the Wave (there's more play in the handles when it's closed, and not as solid) but it's a fraction of the price. Comparing it to the other off-brand multitool that I'd bought and returned (a Bibury), this build quality is really good. All the tools are smooth, the locks work great and mine has no issues with roughness or grinding. Out of the box, the knife was pretty dull, but a few minutes of sharpening fixed that. I love the spring-loaded pliers, the larger scissors and that it'll cost a lot less to replace if I ever lose it.

Very nice fit and finish considering the price point and it works well.
I have this tool in my EDC kit and have been using it consistently. It's a very good quality tool of near equivalence to the Leatherman Wave, which I carried for years until it went missing. The only item I note missing is that this one does not have a diamond file (which I rarely used). Fit and finish is on par with top shelf multitools and there are no sharp edges to bite into the palm when using the pliers. Sheath seems sturdy enough and everything works properly. Overall, very good value for money.

good multitool
Great pliers, with a light duty wire cutter, good blunt tip knife blade for limited use, okay file for small light metals, barely usable saw, limited use ruler, blunt tip short scissors with non-functional opening spring hard to use manually, short awl/ scraper, very light duty phillips #2 screwdriver tip, good cord cutter, okay medium or small lot driver tips, dull can opener, decent bottle opener (especially in this era of screw off caps), and the blade locks work well. Fit and finish are very good but only time will tell about durability. A handy tool of decent compact size, but none of the functions are as good as single purpose tools. Well worth the price.

17 in 1 multi tool
I bought this 17 in 1 stainless steel multitool for myself and I was so impressed I bought 3 more for my grandsons. They are quality made , easy to use, highly functional and are balanced with a good weight. They are good for everything from opening a bottle to removing screws or whatever task you may face in everyday life and or camping and hunting. We love them and use them often. I highly recommend this product !!!

Surprisingly good!
********UPDATE********The knife blade is pretty dull. It cuts through packing tape ok but definitely needs honing. But $20!********Original post:I was a Leatherman snob until the last Wave Plus I bought, which revealed a marked decline in their previously first-rate quality control. This Chinesium "Perwin" tool cost less than $20, so my expectations were pretty low. Surprisingly, it appears to be the equal of the U.S. made Leatherman in every respect - except for the pliers which are much BETTER than the Leatherman (smooth operation, no friction, no slop - Leatherman used to be perfect, new ones are very tight, require force to open, totally lack feel).I haven't used this tool much yet so I can't really speak to it's quality or durability. But for $20.... it has to screw up pretty badly for me to complain. So far so good.I saw one reviewer with a tool that was misaligned when folded. Mine aligns correctly. Another reviewer noticed the tool is a very sloppy fit in the sheath. Mine fits just right in its sheath (although the belt strap on the sheath doesn't look very robust, and the snap is too strong. But again - $20!). So quality control is uneven. I may have gotten lucky with mine.So you aren't risking much buying this tool, though I'm a little sad that a cheap Chinese tool outperforms a premium (once upon a time, anyway) American product that costs 8X more.

My first multi-tool and it does the job. Has me more curious if there are even better options
I'm giving these a 5 star because of how convenient they have become for my IT job. From cutting open boxes, to holding nuts in place from screws that have broken away from their screw mounts on a laptop, or unscrewing said screws, it gets the job done. The only bad side to it is when I forget to bring them with me and I could have used them. The case that goes on your belt loop can make that hard to do. Of course I could always use more built-in tools but this is what I bought, and it works.

Incredible tool
My every day carry for a year now, incredible tool. I own many other well known multi tools that are five times the price of this that I don’t carry anymore. And there 26 in 1 tool is even better which I just started carrying recently.
