Great Cards
These are great. From what I've tried, they take alcohol markers, sharpies, and pencil very well. (Pencil is hard to erase so take care!) Gel pens take a long time to dry but they can be used. (The milky kind of gel pens work better.) Acrylic paint should work as well. Someone said the cards are glossy... The backs of the cards I received are glossy but the blank part is more matte. They feel good in the hand, like standard playing cards. Though they feel the tiniest bit more flimsy, I think it's due to the long part of the card and it doesn't feel like anything to be worried about. There's 80 cards in the package, so if you're building a standard tarot deck you have a couple of extra cards in case you mess up. All in all I would recommend these to anyone looking to create their own deck.

Same as it ever was
They are still as they always were. The cardstock and size and back design is same as the Pamela Colman Smith/AE Waite cards that were published by Rider way back in the 60s (and multiple times since). Good product. Used to be able to buy them in an 'new age' shop. But that seems to be not the case any more. And when you can, they are even more expensive than online.

Well worth it.
I loved them so much I had to get another deck to add to the first one I made.

I've mostly used Micron and sharpie to draw on these ...
I've mostly used Micron and sharpie to draw on these. Just recently added some gel pen. I've found that I need to allow an hour or more and use care but the gels do work and if I keep my fingers away, don't blur.

Not blank cards at all.
Advertised as blank cards, but received a deck with an ugly backing print.
