The Complete Pre-Dental Guide to Modern Dentistry

I found this book to be extremely informative. Although the context of this book is based in the US, I found it to be helpful in giving me a good general guide to what I would be expecting before my Dentistry Degree in the UK.

I used this just to research dentistry before applying and I've got to say it was great for giving a broad overview! The pictures are great as well.

Very informative and well written! Everything is organized in an easy to comprehend, yet detailed manner. Definitely very helpful for a future dental student.

I am working on a Home Study course on Dental Assisting just for fun. I found this book and thought it looked interesting. What a fantastic resource. It is full of coloured pictures and great information. I would recommend it if you are at all interested in any aspect of Dentistry

Our teen-going-on-30 YO daughter expressed an interest in dentistry. Found this as a practical illustrative and textual guide to what dentistry entails. After flipping through it briefly, she's held the interest. There's a lot of detail contained within, and she's only scratched the surface as yet. It looked interesting enough to me that I may also read through it a bit.

If you are going into dentistry or thinking about going into dentistry, this book will put you ahead dramatically and/or give you a great and detailed look into the world that dentists live and work in. It is detailed enough to make you feel like you are learning to be a dentist already, but general enough to remain just an introduction. Good read.
