These cutters appear to be well constructed and apparently use Japanese steel blades which are indeed very sharp on first use. It will take some time and use to fully assess quality but on initial inspection they do feel suitable for the job…. Only time will tell. I just hope the plastic handled extension mechanism equals the quality of the steel blade Update: I have used these shears now several times over several days and I must say they do prove to be exceptionally sharp and cut through quite thick stems that some other brands might struggle with. As the season comes to an end I have just purchased the sharpening tool to try and insure the same razor sharp blades are ready for next years growth 👍

These shears are just what we've been looking for. They are sturdy and sharp and the handles can be adjusted to several heights. You can feel they're good quality. They're a massive improvement on the shears they're replacing. They were delivered quickly and were exceptionally well packaged. Would definitely recommend.

Very impressed with these. Razor sharp shears. Very light, well made. Love the extendable handles. Easy to use. They cut small diameter sprig and twig growth like butter! Registered the warranty online and the seller acknowledged straight away.

nice and light to use, very sharp and appear to be good quality construction. Maybe a bit more expensive than most but almost certainly worth the money and definitely go for the extendable version as easy to use fully extended all the time.

Une vrai cisaille qui coupe parfaitement, (deux aciers différents (et pas un vulgaire coup de peinture sur l.un des deux!) il n’y a pas de tampon en haut du manche mais le mécanisme de démultiplication est nettement plus efficace, de l’herbe au branchages aucun souci pour la taille, le bout des lames n’est pas pointu, bon point pour la sécurité, les poignées très agréables avec un bon grip. On passe de l’achat utile à l.‘investissement . Une encoche en bas de la lame permet de couper des plus gros branchages.Un petit défaut les manches un peu courts , 10 cm n’auraient pas été de trop, mais on peut tout pardonner à ce sabre laser. Envoi ultra rapide 2 jours pour venir d’Angleterre.

Best hedge shears I've used in forty years of gardening, even better than more expensive Japanese brands. Not only are these shears light and sharp, but with the extra leverage provided with the extended handles, they cleanly ut through most anything up to about 3/4". In the past I've used mostly Fiskars and Corona models, which are definitely adequate, but usually heavy and easily clogged. These Kimura shears are silky smooth in action, precisely made, and very light. You will be amazed.
