HP - Paper Shredder Micro Cut, 80-Sheet Auto Feed, Shreds Credit Cards & Staples, Heavy Duty Paper Shredder for Home Use with 3.8 Gallon Basket

All I can say is "Wow" this unit shreds paper very well in both the auto feeder (up to 200 pages - using flattened pages) and the manual feeder. It has a very large 7 gallon hopper for shredding pieces. Not too loud either. Love this unit. Only ran about 1.5 teams (approx. 750 pages) so far but am very impressed. No jams at all.

This shredder works really well for home use. It’s not too loud, runs fast, and holds a good amount of shredded paper. The only issue I’ve had is when I try to feed in too much paper at once—especially near the end of a stack—it can jam. As long as I’m careful with that, it works great. Definitely good quality for the price.

It's a good shredder, but it doesn't shred 80 sheets at 1 time. It will jam if the paper it too thick!

Does a great job. I don't want to call it shredding. The result is that the item comes out like it is snowing—small bits of paper. So much better than shreds.

First I would like to say that I own a bit of HP stock. I have always liked there printers so when I needed to buy a new shredder I thought hey lets support HP. What a mistake! This piece of junk does nothing well. 1. Feeds over a hundred pages? NO jams repeatedly. Then you have to cut the pages out with a knife. 2. Struggles to get through two pages starts to feed third page early then jams. 3. You have to feed it one page at a time if it goes in the lest bit crooked then struggles to get through that page. 4. After feeding one page at a time for 15 minutes machine over heats and you have to stop anyway. Now I want to make clear that I was only trying to get rid of old type paper work we all keep in boxes for a few years so nothing odd just normal sized paper of uniform dimensions. The paper was all pulled apart and even staples pulled out! So if you are thinking about buying a shredder for that price look somewhere else! I might think about selling some HP!

Strong, quiet, super large capacity, great looking. I've had several shredders in the past, none come close to this one. Although not manufactured by HP, it has the same quality as any of their other great products. Guess that's why the HP gave the manufacturer permission to use their name on the label.

Very happy with the product. Shipping was very fast, didn’t expect it to arrive so quickly. Once I tried it, I had to follow instructions because it is a very good shredder, albeit a bit noisy, but it does the job. You can load a 100 pages and walk away. Make sure you don’t shred anything with staples, unopened letters to avoid jamming and fan out pages so the shredder to easily grab pages. Very happy with it at reasonable price.
