Have been thinking about a cctv camera to cover our drivefor ages,but put off as it was awkward to get to a power supply. But,after a bit of research we settled on this battery powered one. Firstly,it arrived well packed,looked like a quality item right from the start. On unpacking,I was surprised by its weight and size. It’s not small,it’s not flimsy,it’s quite substantial. Instruction leaflet was ok,fitted the wall bracket over our garage door whilst I’d plugged the unit to give it some charge,and within a half hour it was up on the wall. Downloaded the app on my phone. Final part of the process was linking it in to my home network,just followed the steps on the app,all pretty easy. Inside the hour it was functioning. Tweaked the settings for motion capture,surveillance timings etc.,again,straightforward,and I was all set. Camera picture quality is excellent both in daytime and night. Alarm light is very bright,siren is very loud if you need it. The area covered by the camera is very wide,easily covers the length and breadth of our drive. You can easily swivel it to look at different areas,but not zoom though. Easily take a picture or record an incident from the app,also there’s a talk function. There’s an option for cloud storage for your “events” or just store to a micro card,which is what we’ve opted for initially. We’ve also opted for no solar panel for now,will see how the battery lasts before it needs charging again. After 2 days it seems to be about 80% charged still,but wasn’t fully charged when it went up. Overall,I’m very impressed with the camera.And for the price,it’s a bit of a steal. You can get others with a few more functions which you’ll probably never use but you’re probably talking twice the price. Thoroughly recommend this one,a good price and it just works. What more would you want ?

I purchased this security camera 14 months ago and it was a good purchase for ease of use v quality of camera v cost. It wasn't difficult to set up and operate, but you need to be able to understand some of the basics about security cameras and how they link into your home WIFI. It can be out of the box ready, but you wont get the full potential if you don't understand how to get the best out of it. After about 10 months it developed an issue, that being the colour picture turned 50 shades of red. By the time I reported it to the customer services it was beyond 12 months so I was just looking for any help possible. I was informed that the camera had a 24 month warranty and within a few days of first responding I was sent a new camera, so back up and fully running. I almost didn't contact the customer services thinking it was out of support but they were excellent, prompt and very polite. So 5/5 for the customer service.

Very happy with this camera so far. Easy to install and setup was real quick, overall quality very good so far.

Very easy to setup provided you can remember your WiFi password! Particularly like the phone app , it tells you whether or not where you want to install the camera has a good signal ( 2.4ghz only, doesn't support 5ghz ). Paper template for the 3 drill holes, insert the provided raw plugs and screw the bracket to your chosen surface. Clip the camera onto the bracket , turn on the camera power , open the Cloud Edge app and have a play , check picture quality and operate the pan, tilt, zoom function. Gentle taps on the direction arrows and the camera turns fairly smoothly and quickly. SD or QHD image quality, picture is clear, light function turns the video into colour at night. The USB connection is the c type, comes with a usb-c lead to charge the batteries. Only found out after I'd bought this that you can buy a solar panel version. I've ordered a solar panel to connect to this which hopefully will mean I don't have to take the camera down to charge up the batteries. I bought a 128gb Kingston micro sd card, format the card in the app. Detected my Mrs and sends messages to your phone when movement detected. So far so good. For the price I'm very pleased. **UPDATE** Bought a solar panel and installed near the camera, it now just stays fully charged. One thing I didn't mention in my original review is that there doesn't seem to be an app available to use on a windows pc. I contacted the manufacturer and they said, no, there is no pc app, just a mobile app.

I bought this security camera initially as cover for the front of my house, but was so impressed that I bought another to cover the rear of my property. The range of the cameras is excellent and each covers at least half of the front and rear of my property. Set up was really easy with the Wi-Fi and linking to the mobile and adjustment of the cameras via the phone is smooth. The motion sensors pick up any movement, including animals that may wander into your gardens and it’s a simple operation to take the cameras down for recharging. They also have lights that are activated at night. You may find that you need to recharge a camera that is located at a busy area (front of house) more often than a quieter area (rear of the house), but again, it’s a simple operation. I would highly recommend these cameras for good coverage, very clear pictures and ease of use; they were also very good value for money.
