Essentially, the fewer pressure points on the Shakti Mat, the more intensive the acupressure experience, as the body weight is distributed over fewer points. Here are the 3 options: Light: The Shakti Mat Light has the most spikes at 9,100. It's available in Yellow. Original: The most popular mat, The Shakti Original, has 6,200 points and is available in Orange, Green, Black, and Pink. Advanced: Advanced Mats have 4,500 tips and is Indigo in color.

Yes, Shakti Mats can totally be shared! While similar to acupuncture, acupressure's aim is to not puncture the skin. When a Shakti Mat is used correctly, your weight should be distributed among the entire surface area of all 6,000 spikes, which allows them to press into the skin (and not puncture it).
