If you only read the first sentence of reviews, I'll make it simple: this headset gets an enthusiastic two thumbs up from a gamer standpoint. The audio quality and noise cancellation on this headset is fantastic, and far beyond what I would expect from an item at this price! I have a set of Bose noise-cancelling headphones from around 2007, and the sound quality is easily on par with those. The metal is nice and sturdy, with the memory foam making the headband very comfortable. It's easy to adjust for a comfortable fit. The ear cups are also very comfortable, though they don't "breathe" well and my ears end up sweating if I wear it for a long time. The in-line volume and mute functions make quick volume tweaks a breeze. It's nice not having to pause what I'm doing to go through Windows sound manager if there's a bit of a volume overload. I would like the headset a tiny bit more if the cable sheathing for the mic boom was woven metal and not cloth, but that's my only real gripe. Definitely give Calmbee a try if you are looking for a good inexpensive headset!

The headphones look good, are so comfortable that I can forget I'm wearing them, and they block out most outside noise (enough to help me stay focused). The sound is crisp and the bass is good. This microphone is a big upgrade from the built-in microphone on my laptop. I like the volume wheel and microphone mute controls on the wire. The wire was quite long, about seven feet. It has a typical audio jack, and you plug it into your computer to get started. The wire is protected by this interwoven insulation style, so it basically doesn't have any risk of breaking. The headset itself feels sturdy, and the headband part is adjustable. Considering the $30 price tag, I'm very pleased with the quality and hope all the features will hold up over the longer term

Mic quality is good and I havent had an issue with sound. Only issue that I would say I have with this headset is the port that you plug into the controller if not wireless is loose and it tends to have an issue cutting out from time to time, so you have to unplug it and plug it back in so far it has happened rarely but still can be a problem for hard core gamers who dont want to be stopping what they are doing to fix their headset. Ear protection is good and with the noise cancellation is very good.
