Snapper 12AVB2A2707 21" Self Propelled Gas Powered Mower with Side Discharge, Mulching, Rear Bag and Rear High Wheel, Dual-lever Height Adjustment with 6 Cutting Positions

It's a workhorse! My first lawnmower was a Briggs & Stratton and when I seen this Snapper had a Briggs & Stratton engine on it I decided to give it a try. One of the bust buys I have ever made! Pulled it right out of the box, assembled it in less than ten minutes, fueled it, checked the oil and it cranked right up on the first pull. Mind you it wasn't one of those arm-wrenching pulls either, just a gentle tug on the pull cord and it started right up. My lawn is a bit hilly in places so the front wheel drive was perfect for when I needed it, and when I didn't need it I just let go of the handle controlling the drive and resumed cutting on the level surface. If you want a solid lawnmower to handle projects that aren't too big,( Even though this little lawnmower could easily do bigger jobs) then I highly suggest that you try this Snapper out with the Briggs and Stratton engine. You can't go wrong with it.

Great mower right out of the box. Starts very easy and does not miss a beat even in my thick Saint Augustine grass. Just wish I would have seen Wal-Mart has the same mower for $296.

The mower arrived about three days before the promised time. The packaging was in good shape. Before attaching the handle, I skimmed the instruction book. I began to attach the handle and realized it would be best to actually read the instruction book. That took about two minutes. After that, attaching the handle was accomplished in a matter of minutes.The packaging included a 12 oz. container of the appropriate motor oil. Added that and added gasoline. One pull of the rope and it started. I have used it only once and thus far, I think it is great. It continues to start on the first pull.This is my first self-propelled mower. I don’t know if all of them are variable speed but I can’t imagine trying to use one without that feature. The mower is easy to use and its cut is perfect.I recommend it without reservation.

Very disappointed with this mower.First, it's front wheel drive which means that whenever you lift the front to make a turn there is no propulsion around the turn.Second, the grass bag can only fill about 1/2 full. Then, when you take the bag off, a large amount of the grass will fall out.Third, and this may be something that is required now but my last mower didn't have this issue. The issue is that if you let go of the blade engagement bar the engine will stop. This means that every time you need to empty the bag or move a hose in the yard you will have to restart it. You should be able to let go of the blade engagement bar and still keep the engine running.

Just received it and put it together. Very easy setup. Added the oil, pulled the handle out 8 inches (per instructions), added gas, and fired it up. Started on first pull. Looking forward to mowing the grass again!

love this mower. I bought a snapper at least 20 years ago. I never changed the oil or winterized it and i never took the gas out for the winter and every year when i cut the lawn the first time it took 3 pulls and it started and after that just one pull. I had to buy a new one because the frame rotted out but the motor still runs. I never even changed the spark plug

Love it, love it, love it! Starts immediately and runs great. East to adjust.
