Great Speakerphone and Speaker
I use my TOUCAN Conference Speakerphone for both personal and business calls. With family dispersed all over, my wife and I like to stay in touch with regular phone calls (often video) but the speakerphone function built into phones is pretty basic, leading to frequent echo and dropouts. Using the Toucan my wife and I can both hear and be heard clearly, making these calls a real pleasure instead of a frustration. Of course the same benefits accrue to business calls. Since the lockdowns of 2020 remote work has become an everyday thing, so I'm regularly on conference calls. My conferencing software accepts the Toucan speakerphone connected to my computer without a hitch, giving me much better sound quality than the speakers and microphone built into my laptop, and much more comfortably than earphones. The TOUCAN Conference Speakerphone also works very well as a Bluetooth speaker. With good volume and substantial bass, the Toucan is now my office music source when it's not being used as a phone. This speaker is roughly the size, shape and form factor of the original Amazon Echo, and like the Echo has to be plugged into an AC outlet. This has never been a problem and lets me use the two USB-A ports on the Toucan to power my phone and tablet. Setting up the Toucan is very easy, and the speaker even has a "voice guidance" function (which can be easily turned off) to help. I like this speaker/speakerphone very much and recommend it for anyone who could use its capabilities.

Very Disappointing
I got this conference speakerphone in the hopes that I could use it with RingCentral on my computer for making and receiving calls for my job. I don't like wearing a heavy headset all day, and so the option to use a speakerphone seemed to be what I was looking for. This speakerphone is from the same company that makes my video doorbell. My video doorbell works flawlessly, so I figured this would be similar. The packaging that this speaker comes in is good. You get the speakerphone, a USB-C to USB-A cable, the power cable, and some documentation.I first tried to hook this speakerphone up to my computer using Bluetooth. The pairing process was easy. But when the time came to talk with the speakerphone, nothing worked. I am using the speaker with Windows 10, and I checked my sound settings to make sure that everything was set up correctly. I had the device set up as my default speaker and microphone. I was just unable to get the speaker to work on Bluetooth. I then decided to try a wired connection on my computer. The wired connection worked, but when I went to check the sound setting properties in Windows, the best sound quality I could get was cassette quality, which is horrible. That is what made me just disconnect the speakerphone and go back to a headset. My headset gets studio quality on the microphone and earphones. In the year 2022, cassette quality sound is just unforgivable. The device itself is well made and easy to use, but unless I can get better quality sound, I won't be recommending this to anyone.
