PSP Traveler Case

To start off, this is an excellent case for people who are about to travel. This is hard, durable, and plus you can hold 3 games, (2 holders are in the case, one can fir in the system) and it can hold your memory stick too! I traveled oversees and I had to wait 5 hours at the airport, thankfully, I had this case to put my PSP 3000 in (by the way, the PSP 3000 fits very snuggle in this case, it doesn't move)! There are a lot of holes and hinges, but they all have a purpose, and no wrong in doing so. For example, there are 6 holes in the whole case. One is for the charger, two of them for the L1 and R1 buttons, one hole so you can reach the power, and one for your headphones. And finally one hole so you can attach a strap. Now when you open the case, the PSP has a screen protector that doesn't cause light visibility or reflection problems. Put the system in, and snap the protective screen over it. The case inside has like a rubber inside, which keeps it safe.As the case is open, there are yet 2 more holes. One to reach the WLAN switch, and the last for a USB. On the back of the case you see the back of your system. Only small problem is, you must take out the system to change a game. But seriously, is this really bad? To me it isn't. Let's just say this thing has no problems, it's all good! This case can be carried by hand, but, I'm not sure if it'll fit if you have a small pocket.Overall!I HIGHLY recommend buying this case! This case holds 2 UMD's, and if you put one in your PSP that makes 3. It holds 2 memory sticks, and if you put one in your PSP that also makes 3. The place where your PSP goes has a screen protector, and a pocket on the side if you have an extended life battery. It fits everything snugly, and everything is easy to get out of the case. It is a highly protective case too, so if you drop it, the PSP won't get any damage. Lastly, the design of the case really looks good. Combining all of these things together makes this item really worth the price. The only flaw is that it is too big to fit in a pocket. Now, I only use my PSP at home because the PSP (3000) itself so too big/long to fit in my pocket, but for those of you who like to carry their PSP with them, you will probably need to put it in a backpack.

I knew I needed something snazzy and effective to house my PSP to prevent damage, and possibly carry a game or two, quickly and conveniently. What I did not expect was a case that protects all of my items from the outside world and each other. The PSP has its own special place in the case where it fits perfectly, openly displaying its logo on the outside of the case for the world to see. On top of that there is a special locking mechanism that fits over the screen, binding the PSP down, keeping it safe and guarding what many would call a far to fragile HD screen from any other objects in the case that might come loose during transport. Not that they ever have mind you. Any UMDs or Memory Sticks (yes there are slots for those too) that I have ever placed in this things stay exactly where they are meant to. It does is job and it looks good doing it. That is all I look for in my accessories. Just ignore the fact that Amazon seems to think this item is a game for some reason.

In short, I own a PSP-3000 and I'm pleased with the case.To debunk something right now, it's NOT hard to remove the screen protector. Think outside the box. Don't just push on the piece, pull down on the latch. It comes out EXTREMELY easily and moreover I think it's a good design.How to open:Left thumb, left side of latch, push down. Right thumb, push up flip. I can open it in literally 1-2 seconds. Once you get it, you'll wonder why you never figured it out before now.I feel safe with my PSP in the case. It's definitely safe. However, it is not comfortable for leaving it in the case while playing. The case pokes at the insides of my hands and it's fairly bulky. However, watching a movie with the PSP in the case? No problemo.I don't fault the case too much for this, because I have yet to hear of a respected case that protects your case properly, that is fine for holding while playing. From what I hear, the Logitech PocketGear is guilty of this as well, as almost everyone states they remove it for play.This one comfortably holds 2 UMDs in addition to 2 memory sticks, which is nice considering travel. I have a UMD case, so do I need it to hold 2? Probably not... but nice to put my "main" games in those place holders when traveling. Easier to take just the case than the case AND my UMD case.My main gripe, despite not being able to play it in the case, is that the stand doesn't stay on any sort of smooth surface. It does not "click" into place as it states that it will. Easy fix, just brace the back flip against something and you're good to go.Assuming you did not purchase this case to play the PSP while inside of it, it's a nice case. Looks good, feels good, does the trick. I would feel 100% safe placing this in my luggage or whatever with no fear of the system being damaged. A solid, satisfying buy.

I picked this up for my 12 year old, who just got a PSP for his birthday. I can tell already this thing is going to be a god-send. He really likes the fact that it has spots in the lid for UMDs and memory sticks. I really like the foam nesting inside and the fact that it's built to stand up to some abuse. For being plastic, it seems to be quite the sturdy case, and so far it's beating the pants off the cloth case he was gifted with the PSP in terms of reliable protection. For the awesome price on this, if it holds up to even a few months of the abuse he can dish out, I'm going to be one happy camper.
