This is THE BEST outdoor/by the pool/by the water tanning lotion ever! I have used it in my tanning bed for years. It gives you a STUNNING rich, brown tan after just a couple of sessions. I will say the browning lotion doesn't absorb all the way so it does and will make a mess! But it does NOT stain ever, it washes right off. Once I am done tanning, I just take a dry towel and remove excess lotion. The after tan lotion is amazing and will turn any little burn into a beautiful tan overnight! My all time fave! It smells like mocha and coffee which makes sense because there's coffee as an ingredient!

I’ve been using the Maui Babe Before and After Browning Lotion for a few weeks, and it really helps get a nice, natural-looking tan. One thing to note: when you apply the lotion, your hands do get a bit brown, so I always make sure to wash them right after. It’s not a big deal, but definitely something to keep in mind if you don’t want stained palms! The lotion smells great—not too strong—and feels lightweight on the skin. I have never had a tanning product work so well for me. First off let me start with saying that how quick it works is based off of where you are in the world in my experience. For example, if you are at the beach or an island or somewhere the sun is closer to the equator, it works quicker. If you are somewhere further north, it takes a bit longer, but still not by much. I would say only about a 15-30 minute difference for seeing results varying UV index. This product has definitely made it easier to tan living up north. And the aftercare lotion with this stuff is *chefs kiss*. I would put the aftercare stuff on after laying out on the beach and getting red like Larry the Lobster, then would wake up the next day with a tan and moisturized skin. Plus, with working, it makes it harder to spend my day soaking in the sun(sadly). But I still have a great tan after a week. Also, I am a skincare finatic and this did not make my face breakout or anything. (It does also have a sort of molasses smell but it really isnt horrible). So yes, buy the product. It’s so worth it.

The UV today was 7 and I tanned for 4 and a half hours. I’m very pale and burn quite quickly but the tanning lotion made me not burn anywhere even on my shoulders where I usually always do. It kind of smells bad, not super bad but like soy sauce or weird chocolate but it didn’t really bother me much. I showered and then used the after lotion and it was very thick, smelt like aloe very and left my skin with this kind of non slip feeling like how your hands feel after using a hotel soap. It’s not sticky more thick and rubs on nice, I’d recommend if your goal is to be a nice bronze

I swear on Maui Babe if you want a fast, beautiful and natural tan. I have been using it for over 10 summers now and it gives my skin such a natural summer tan. It can be used on all skin types as it just soaks into your skin and you can put on as little or much as you want. It is not waterproof. I start by putting on my SPF, then apply Maui Babe all over my body and then I use a bronzing oil. Make sure that you rub it in really good because it can streak, so put it on once the SPF dries or put it on before SPF. I do recommend carrying baby wipes or toilet wipes so you can wipe off your hands because it will stain your hands. Be careful also when putting it on around your swimsuit as well because it will get on your clothes and possibly stain it. However, I have no problem getting it out of my bathing suit or towel when I wash them. I do use the after sun lotion once I get out of the shower and believe it does help to keep my tan last. My skin stays tan long after the summer season is over for about 4-5 months and I honestly believe it is because of the Maui Babe. I have heard of other people using it as a self tanner. The Maui Babe and the After Sun lotion do have a mild smell to it that does linger however it goes away. I do not have any skin sensitivity to it or breakouts. I do not use it on my face as my skin is sensitive to breakouts so I don’t want to use it on my face. Some of my friends do use it on their face and have not problems. If you are looking for the best bronzer to help speed up tanning goal then Maui Babe is your choice.

I absolutely love the Maui Babe Browning Lotion! Not only does it give me a gorgeous tan, but I also love that it's made in the USA. It works so well and helps me achieve an even, natural-looking tan without the harsh chemicals. The lotion goes on smoothly, and the results are fantastic. My tan looks amazing, and I get compliments every time I use it. Highly recommend this product!

Love the lotion have used multiple bottles. It really does help prolong a suntan. Very moisturizing very nice scent. Like a you know Hawaiian tropical coconut pineapple scent little plumeria in there. But the bronzing cream stinks to high heaven. It was sticky and it was gross so I never used it and I won’t buy it again. Definitely by the lotion, but not the bronzer.

Love the results from tanning with the browning lotion. Only downside to the browning lotion is that it is super messy. Using a kabuki brush to apply helped to keep the mess to a minimum. Just don’t wear a white or light colored bikini. The staining does wash out, but not always 100%. Love the results with the after sun lotion even more! I don’t hold tan very well and this after sun lotion truly does help to hold a tan for days. You definitely still have to have consistent sun exposure don’t get me wrong. For someone that typically burns, then is the same shade of pale the following day, this stuff is a game changer for tanning!
