Only thing I wear! So clean and fresh! Affordable!

I’ve been wearing this perfume since 1998. I don’t know if it happens to just be my pheromones but everywhere I go all of these years I get many compliments. They stopped making it for a while and I had to buy from a secondhand producer. I’m glad it’s back on the market again. It’s not floral like many other perfumes, but more woodsy, very natural and clean smelling. I love it, and now my daughters wear it as well!

Great scent

Smells good and everybody likes my smell

I have been wearing this original W scent from Banana Republic for 15 years. They no longer sell this original W in stores so I've had to buy off of this website regularly for the past 3 and half years. With my most recent purchase, I was scent the "new version" of W they sell in the stores that is actually pink in color not clear like the original and if you look at the photo it shows a "clear" colored liquid for the fragrance when purchasing. So I was super sad and very disappointed when I did my regular order and received this terrible, tacky scented product. NOT at all like the light, fresh fragrance I've worn as my signature scent for over a decade! Maybe they are not making the original anywhere anymore? If anyone reads this review and knows of where I can get the Original version of W, please let me know as I'm crushed to not be able to wear it anymore!

Perfume de buena calidad mi preferido

I read all the reviews on this perfume before purchasing it. I started to wear this in the late 90’s. Yes, the bottle design is different and yes, it smells a little different as well. It is still a nice fragrance. When I smelled it, it seemed to be more floral vs smelling more fresh like the old version. The dry down is not as strong and smells a little more floral. Overall, it’s still a great scent with a hint of the old version still present. Not sure I will buy it again, but it’s still a nice perfume all the same. It still has a light, fresh with a floral smell to it. If you are hoping it smells like the original, it does not, just a hint of it.

I have worn this scent for many years now and I love it! When I first bought it, it was described as a fruity floral scent consisting of the smell from fresh cut banana leeves, e.g. When I bought it this time, no seller mentioned any extent of a banana scent. So I was afraid that this fragrance had changed. I was, therefore, thrilled to be able to find out that the scent is still the same! Although it is now described as only a floral scent, my best description would rather be that this scent clearly reminds me most of the wonderful, fresh smell of green bananas, to me it clearly has a fruity tone to it. As mentioned, I just love it!
