Tripp Lite consistently produces excellent power management/distribution products. This is no exception. I love the outlets on both sides that allow room for certain wall-warts (based on the configuration of the clunky things). Great that it has outlets on both sides - love that. And the cord is much longer than I expected. I haven't measured it - but looks to be about 6-8 feet. An unexpected bonus.

I loved that it has so many plugs and spaced so wide apart. Its perfect in my rack and it has plugs on both sides which is very convenient. I especially liked that the power switch is encased in plastic to prevent any accidental shut downs! FYI also has a vey long cord its at the top of my 42u rack cord goes full length down then another 6 feet to the wall very impressive.

These are amazing to have. I use one in my stage box rack so everything is patched directly into the front. Love it.

I bought this and their Triplite 1500W UPS. I plugged it into the UPS, and only using it for my 3 switches so they don't occupy the entire UPS. I wouldn't recommend using it plugged into the UPS if are powering servers with the PDU because most likely it will overload the socket on the UPS. I have my servers and router plugged into the UPS directly. Very happy with it.

Fit perfect in my small rack system, the cord was way too long for my application, but some will appreciate that. Looks great too. I like that there are outlets on the back and front and the power switch is covered to protect against accidental switch off.

I installed this into a short (6u) wall-mounted rack to distribute power from a rack-mount UPS to the server and networking gear I had in the rack (some of which actually is on a shelf on top, not racked, like the wireless router). The rotation of the sockets was ideal for plugging wall wart type supplies as they didn't then cover other outlets. The only minor issue was making sure that the order of racked components was such that this was not sandwiched between deeper items since that would prevent plugging in wall-warts: that is, you need clearance on one side (or the other or both) so it can extend over the top and bottom of the casing. The strip itself is very well made, and comes with plastic covers for any front outlets you aren't using giving it a more finished appearance and preventing accidents from the little ones. The plastic cover over the power switch is also a nice touch - since most of us will be turning it on and leaving it on it helps prevent accidental power outage to your whole rack (esp. when, as in my case, you are plugging this into a UPS - you want to shut down the rack from the UPS if you are going to do so).

Have one in my rack at the moment plugged into a basic UPS. It is powering my pfsense router, switch, poe injector for wifi, cable modem and one of the 3 redundant power supplies of my primary server. Plan on getting 3 more of these in addition to 3 more UPSs so that all three servers can have one power input of the redundant power supplies one a different UPS and have the router, switch, modem and poe injector on its own UPS and PDU.

Very nice, heavy duty unit. Very simplistic for being called a PDU, but I knew that when I bought it. Plenty of outlets, and nice, long, heavy-duty cord to reach an outlet that is even far away. Perfect for connecting multiple loads to my UPS in my setup; using it as the PDU for my budget server/networking rack made from modular wire shelving. I'd definitely buy this again. If a basic but heavy-duty upgrade from your standard surge-protector/power strip is what you're looking for, this will definitely fill the need.

Requeria una barra de contactos para mi servidor la cual tuviera conexiones delanteras ya que muchas veces conecto discos duros externos para respaldos y me es util poder enchufarlos en la parte frontal sin tener que mover cables en la parte trasera. El material y el acabado que tiene es de excelente calidad algo muy comun en articulos de esta marca. La principal razon por la que lo compre con los enchufes en ese angulo es debido a que utilizo muchas veces aparatos con eliminador, de esta forma no bloqueo el enchufe de al lado lo cual normalmente pasa con enchufes en angulo recto normal y terminas desperdiciando varias salidas debido a esto. La barra de contactos cuenta con 6 salidas frontales y 6 salidas traseras, ahora ya puedo tener mis aparatos fijos conectados en la parte trasera y todo lo que necesito solo de momento lo conecto en la parte delantera lo cual me ha ahorrado mucho tiempo evitando mover el servidor a cada rato o tener extensiones colgadas que me evitaban cerrar la puerta del servidor. Otra de las cosas que tiene esta barra es que trae varias perforaciones para las orejas que se montan a los rieles y asi puedes ajustar la profundidad de la misma a tus necesidades ya sea que la necesites mas hacia adentro o la necesitas que quede mas hacia afuera para que no topen los eliminadores conectados con nada lo cual puede ser muy conveniente en algunos casos. Tiene poco peso, el tamaño es muy pequeño y el cable que trae es lo suficientemente largo para un servidor de buena altura. El switch frontal tiene una tapa que evita que por error apagues la barra y pueda afectar tu trabajo. Muy buena barra la recomiendo.

La marca siempre rebasa mis expectativas.

12 plugs, (6 front, 6 rear) is very handy. Good value.

Nice power source for 19" rack. Very convenient with outlets front and back. The power switch makes shutting down very easy, yet it is protected from accidental trips.I plan on ordering more soon.
