So this story was really interesting, there was an element of fated/soul mates but with a great twist.This book felt quite slow to start, and we get a lot of telling which speeds up the story but I felt that we missed out on getting the know the characters and world better.Averly was young (19), but she seemed fairly switched on and didn't come across as too young, but she did get a bit whiny when we get a potential love triangle, she really showed her age at that point and it felt a little 'high school'.I loved Maddy's character, I think she was actually my favourite. She was funny, sassy and brave. Brayden felt too sweet and perfect at times, but was a gentleman and truly loved his soul mate and was determined to fight the Fae Lords to get his kingdom and siblings back.This book does end on a cliffhanger.- wolf shifters- royalty- fated mates- soul mates

I did find the who is Lena, who is Wren situation both a bit frustrating and annoying!🙈 I'm looking forward to reading book #2. I'm a big fan of Leia's work but I'm generally not a big werewolf or vampire fan these days but if she writes it you bet I'm going to read it.Absolutely loved this one, one part of the ending came as a shock and the other i could see coming a mile off. God I wanted to smack Leah and am wondering what the motivations are behind it cos I don't believe it uh uh not for a second.I can't wait for book two to see where this goes, this is packed full of supernatural goodness and has the potential to knock Fallen Academy off my top spot for series fave from this author.I'm so excited to learn more about Brayden and his family and their pasts and the girls pasts too. Excited to see what both sides get up to now the main characters are separated.

I think this is one of Leia stone best books I read so far full of tense unexpected happenings through out with suspense action and slow burning sexual desire, fantastic story telling talent writer will defiantly recommend these books to everyone who likes suspense action sexiness fun and bravery.

My god I don’t think I’ve ever been more frustrated with a book in my entire life! It’s weird to mean that in a good way but it’s just how good Leia’s writing is.My heart just bled for Averly through this whole book. Constantly being compared to others and then add in Leah and I was just ready to scream! Leah got on my nerves she was very inconsiderate to Averlys feelings when Averlys done nothing but try for Leah I think there’s just something off there I but I hope I’m wrong!That ending just absolutely gutted me and I need book 2 immediately!

First of Spoiler!! Leah get a grip girl!! Seriously making me mad! She only meets braydon and wants him after knowing Averly was with him, I wanted to slap her myself! All I say is Averly Better BE Lena because my poor heart couldn't take it💔 on to book 2 NOW!! please give me the happy result I want! Fantastic read💖

Oh my god! How could you leave us all with that cliff hanger?! I did not expect THAT!! Once again, I absolutely loved this new book and it was such an easy read while still having its own unique twist and world building compared to some other werewolf/wolf shifter stories. I always love Leia's world building and this one did not disappoint! I absolutely loved this book from start to finish and couldn't bare to put it down. Perfect book to escape into after a long few weeks meeting college deadlines! Would definitely recommend
