This has been a dependable and reliable bread yeast for me. I’ve never had any trouble getting my breads to rise with this yeast. It lasts quite a long time. I keep a small jar of it in my fridge and the rest I’ll put in an airtight container and freeze it. Lasts a looooong time.

Amazingly economical compared to the envelopes in the supermarket. If you make your own bread frequently this is the only way to go. At 3 loaves per week, a one-lb package lasts over a year if kept in the fridge or freezer.

I was happy with the price, amount, action (worked well) and expiration date was far into future so good. I store them sections in light proof bags in freezer, opening a new bag as needed.
