This is the perfect bacon to add to your green beans, or mashed potatoes, or whatever you want your 'seasoning' in. I'm from the South, and we love our pork seasoning. But lately, my husband, who read something in the bible I guess, decided that after 60+ years of eating bacon, now he won't go near it. Stupid. And makes my job of cooking SO much more of a hassle. It is NOT like that nasty jar of 'bacon bits.' I don't know what that junk is, but THIS Jack Links Bacon Jerky is the real deal and worth every cent!

So of all the jerky products, I dont prefer anything except beef jerky. I dont prefer turkey jerky or pork jerky or anything but beef jerky. Enter bacon jerky, now this is a different product then dried jerky, this is not similar to other jerky's at all, it is very tender in every bite. The reason it works is the smoking process. Once on a while when the texture of beef jerky is a little much, this is a great option, and in fact I can see even choosing this over beef jerky from time to time. I have no idea why bad reviews call this greasy, I promise you it isnt. Super easy to prove, after you eat it take your finger and swipe it in the empty bag = nada nothing not a hint of grease. 27's grams of protein, we are literally talking about healthy meal replacement. Yes it does have some preservatives, it is a cured meat. But they are salt based and used in most cured meats. 5 stars all day long, I was grateful I needed a filler product for my free shipping. I will buy again, multiple times. Great value as well.

It’s literally bacon. Not sure what I was expecting, but it’s just bacon. Soft jerky texture but it’s bacon! Did I mention that it’s bacon? Bacon.

Very Good, but this is IDENTICAL to thick cut pre-cooked bacon found in every grocery store. My first thought was, "Why did I fall for this?" BUT... I checked the price & weight of thick cut pre-cooked bacon in my local supermarket & found out that the weight is the same (2.5 oz), however, the the pre-cooked bacon price in the store was at least $2 MORE expensive per package. So, THIS ITEM is actually a good buy / price & a great product. Another thing is it's not covered in bacon grease like some of the strips in some pre-cooked bacon packages. So, this is the exact same quantity, at a much better price & not coated in grease - so much to my surprise, I give it FIVE STARS !!! I was concerned about it being too hard on the teeth as beef jerky can be - it was very easy to chew. It is as fatty as any other bacon - so if you're afraid of fat grams, stay away - it is NOT a lean product. But it is perfect for low carb or keto diets. Overall, I'm good with it & can even toss it in the microwave for a few seconds per slice to crisp it if I want. Good stuff !!!

When the bacon jerky arrived, I noticed that it wasn't "crispy" at all. It felt like undercooked bacon from a pan, rubbery and floppy. -1 starThere was a LOT of fat on the bacon. Once I separated the fat from the meat, the meat tasted great. Unfortunately each strip seemed like it was more fat than meat. -1 starI'll probably be sticking with just frying up bacon in a pan, but at least the bacon jerky was edible.

I love this! I keep them in my truck for emergency. Only jerky I buy
