SCHWIFTY!
Look at this squanch right here! It's an honest-to-science Rick Sanchez action figure! I can't believe it finally exists, and it's great! Let's break it down:PROS:1.) DESIGN. It looks SO good. From his lab coat to his bald spot, this IS Rick. Would I have preferred a "Let's get riggidy, riggidy wrecked!" face over his "Contemplating the finite nature of existence" face? Maybe. But the look is dead on. Love it.2.) DURABILITY. Solid plastic. No concerns about limb breakage at all. The only soft plastic here is his coat, which is a cool touch.3.) PRICE. Ten dollars! I can't get over it! There's no conceivable way that Funko has made a figure THIS great at THIS price without losing some money. It's seriously a steal at twice the price!CONS:1.) POSEABILITY. Without a double-jointed arm it's impossible to, say, get Rick's flask to his face. Rotating joints at the waist and upper arms would have been nice too. Also, the hip joints make the knees swing out instead of in front, causing him to sit criss cross. Still though, for TEN dollars? I can easily look past that stuff. This is a STELLAR start to what could be a robust figure line... and now I want a Jerry, Beth, Summer, Jessica, Squanchy, Gearhead, Linkler, Needful, Sleepy Gary, Goldenfold, Pancakes, Scary Terry, Fart, Tiny Rick, Pickle Rick, Armor Suit Rick, Steroid Rick, Robot Rick, Doofus Rick, Seal Team Ricks, Council Ricks...

Funko's Rick and Morty Rick Sanchez 5" action figure
Like a lot of people, I love Rick and Morty. I found out about it by following co-creator Dan Harmon from his other television show, Community and his podcast Harmontown. I wasn't sure if Rick and Morty was going to take off, or ever get popular enough to get turned into action figures. Luckily, this show has become more than a cult phenomenon. In fact, it's so popular, we might get our Schezwan Mcnugget sauce back. So here we're checking out Funko's 5" Rick and Morty figure of Rick Sanchez from planet C-137, so what's in the box?Rick SanchezPortal GunFlaskSnowball in Mech Suit right armRick comes with the most Rickety Rick accessories he could, his trusty portal gun, and a flask. You have to get each of the 5 figures in the line to be able to build the Snowball in Mech Suit figure, how Hasbro's Marvel Legends does with their Build-A-Figure pieces. Luckily these Rick and Morty figures are pretty cheap, I pre-ordered these here for $9.99, and that's about what they're worth. Since they're so cheap, I kinda give them on pass on paint slop and weak articulation. Rick here isn't so easy to stand, his joints move fine, but there just isn't a lot of range of motion. Luckily the accessories fit well in hand. The sculpt and paint overall are solid, especially considering how low the price point is. It's affordable to get all the figures in the line, these are small enough to display on your desk or on a shelf. My Rick here will be next to my Plumbus and this Norwegian Troll (pictured). if you're a fan of Rick and Morty and like action figures, Funko did a pretty solid job here. I'd love to get a wave 2 of these with Jerry, Summer, Beth, maybe some sort of Total Rickall pack with Hamurai and Pencilvester and Ghost in a jar and Reverse Giraffe? I'd love to get Ricks Space Cruiser. If this was more expensive I'd have given it 4 stars because it is fairly basic in most regards and doesn't have the best articulation, but the price and overall execution makes this figure FULLY APPROVED.

Hands down one of the best figures I've ever seen in this price range!
Since there has already been an incredibly thorough and accurate review written, I'll keep mine short. This is an incredible figure! I have several different toys/figures/statues from all sorts of shows and genres in lots of different price ranges and I can confidently and comfortably say that from top to bottom this particular figure could easily be sold for two to three times this price ($10.99) and people would still thrilled with it.Packaging and packaging design - 5 starsFigure material and build quality - 5 starsAccessories material and build quality - 5 starsFigure articulation and positioning - 5 starsOverall Paint and Finish - 4 stars (there are a couple SMALL spots where the paint was off the mark by just a small amount and there are some spots where the seams from joining plastic are a bit harder/sharper than one would expect, but even that is mainly limited to the accessories.Accuracy compared to source material - 4 stars (The Rick figure seems a little short compared to what he looks like on TV. I don't have the Morty figure for comparison yet but even if my observation is correct, it's certainly not off by a huge amount)Bottom Line: You absolutely will not find anything better for the money. It looks, moves, and feels like a much higher end figure. You have to be willing to really split hairs to find anything wrong with it.
