Q: How tall is the coffee maker? Can it fit a small kitchen?

Hi, this compact coffee maker is about 11.7 inches tall, and is very suitable for small places, such as offices, RVs, hotels and small apartments.

Q: Does this machine only use k-cups? Can I use just the grains?

By grains do you mean ground coffee? Yes I also use ground coffee in the machine . Follow the instructions included for the brew basket and enjoy.

Q: Will this work with refillable k-cups?

No. It has its own basket, which you can use to brew coffee from your own grounds, but you cannot use a refillable k-cup. You would think that it might work, but the pin that comes down to puncture the top of a k-cup is slightly off center, enough so that it would not work with the plastic refillable k-cup that I had from a previous machine. I like this machine a lot, but use it exclusively with regular k-cups and not my own grounds.

Q: Does the coffee come out hot ?

Hi friend, the coffee comes out as hot as 170°F, which is the ideal temperature for drinking hot coffee with added cream or milk.
