I got the "Type G" for a Malaysia work trip. With "universal sockets" becoming more common, adapters like this are needed far less. That said, I did need it one time, and it paid for itself in that one time of need. It is solid, plugs in fine, and it does have USB ports, which I did not need and did not test at the time. It's a bit heavy and weird shaped, but that's just because it is well made and has lots of plug in spots. Well worth the money. Recommended.

I bought this for my trip to the UK and it worked well. No issues, I loved the amount of plugs on this block so I could charge multiple things at once. I actually accidentally left mine back in the UK when I came back home, so I can say I will be purchasing another one before my next trip!

This adaptor worked great during a trip to Scotland. It connected securely to the wall sockets and allowed me to charge my phone, camera, etc with no issues. I previously had an adaptor that had more than the one style of adaptor prongs, but that caused it to be larger and heavier and sometimes it would sag away from the wall. This one did not. Very satisfied.

It worked just as described. It wasn't bulky at all which was an issue I had with other adapters. Pros: 1) Multiple USB ports: Most of the items I bring on my trips abroad are all USB based so even in situations where there was only one convenient plug, I could charge my phone, my tablet and my watch all at the same time. Now with some devices switching to USB-C, having that option was awesome. 2) Compact: The other adapters I have were humongous; which I understood, but for this trip, I needed to have the smallest footprint possible. This fit the bill! 3) Type G Compatibility: I had absolutely no problem with using this in England and Ireland. Fit snugly in each outlet I used it in. Cons: 1) Not a voltage converter: This isn't a real con, since I knew this when I purchased it but you have to make sure whatever you use can handle the increased voltage.
