Love this product! Make sure you shake well before you use it. Otherwise, im not crazy about the smell if it’s not fully mixed.

I am someone who only buys clean/nontoxic beauty products. I could not find a full list of ingredients for this product either on the company website or here on Amazon. So I purchased one to see the full list. Not only does it contain several ingredients I don’t approve of, but it has one big dealbreaker: fragrance, aka phthalates, aka endocrine disruptors.

I have naturally wavy hair that I diffuse dry, and it can be challenging to find a heat protectant that doesn't weigh down my waves or leave behind a weird residue. I haven't had the best luck in the past with spray products, in particular. But Sutra is a good brand, so I decided to give this a try.And oh, my goodness! I'm so glad I did! This spray heat protectant is fantastic. It solves the problem I've run into with other sprays like this, in that it's dispensed as a fine mist, not just a spray. So it goes on very light. It doesn't weigh down my waves or change their texture at all. And it doesn't leave behind any discernable residue. On top of all that, it also does an amazing job of protecting my hair from heat damage from my dryer. On my wavy hair, especially, I'm really pleased with this product.I did also try it when I straightened my hair and I wasn't quite as happy with it then. My hair felt dryer than usual after straightening it with this as my heat protectant. Even after I finished my look with some hair oil, it still seemed a bit dryer than I'd like.I found it kind of strange that I had such a varied experience with one product, just based on how I styled my hair. Good news, for me, at least, is that I already have a go-to fav product to use when straightening my hair, so I wasn't looking to replace that. This does fill a gap in my routine, though, for when I style my hair wavy. This is one of the few products I've tried that really does well with my wavy hair. So I'll continue using it on days when I style my hair wavy.I would say, if you've got wavy hair and you've had similar difficulty finding a heat protectant, this is definitely worth a try. It's working out great for me. I would buy this again. Highly recommend.

I have long hair that goes to the middle of my back that I frequently flat iron or heat style. I look for professional heat-protecting products that do not add texture or residue to my hair and will extend the life of my style. The heat protectant spray by SUTRA is one of the first flat iron sprays that I have used that is unrecognizable in my hair aside from replenishing my hair and making it feel fresh.My hair is soft and feels lightweight, free-flowing, and clean. This formula does not weigh down my hair and smells nice as well. It has a lightweight mist and is easy to distribute without spraying heavily in certain areas. So far, I would consider ordering again. I think it is worth taking a look at.

When I used this SUTRA Heat Protector, I didn't notice that my hair felt noticeably different. It didn't detangle very well, and it didn't feel super-silky and soft after I'd dried it and styled it. I was left feeling a bit dubious as to the value of this product. Does it work better over a long term? Did I not dry my hair on a high enough setting? Did I not dry my hair for a long enough time? I left my thoughts thus: if I cannot tell in a fairly short time a noticeable difference in my hair when using a new product, then I pass on the product. Some items give my hair a noticeable lift immediately. Some, alas, leave me confused, and this SUTRA Heat Protector is one of those confusing sprays that didn't seem to do much.
