DT22 Access panel

I used this slim access panel at a client's house to hide a shut off valve in the wall. Overall it worked well size was good and the installation was easy.

The Access Panel Door proved to be an ideal solution when we needed to add an outdoor waterline that required tying into our house waterline. With our basement finished, we didn't want an eyesore disrupting the aesthetic. This door provided a seamless and visually appealing way to access the necessary utilities without compromising the appearance of our home. Easy to install and durable, it neatly conceals the access point while remaining functional—a perfect blend of form and function.

I bought this to hide a toilet valve in the wall in order to be able to shut off flow to an in-wall toilet tank. The problem I have found with these tanks is that if the internal valve sticks (which is not easy to get to behind the flush panel) there's no way to turn it off. Couple that with a macerating pump and you have non-stop noise along with the waste of water. To remedy that I found this panel and it looks and works great for this purpose. I had to cut some grooves in the frame of the panel in order to mount it over the tank frame (I had tight quarters, you wouldn't need to mount it so close if you had more options.)

This is alright but it is so hard to open. Always need to pry it with something. Not too bad, but I would try a different one.

I usually buy the big box brand access panels, but these worked great for cheaper price.

Lo único que no me gusta es que solo se puede colocar verticalmente, tiene muy buena presentación pero no sirve horizontalmente.

This plastic access panel is well made and fits neatly once installed.
