A size 9 is closer to a 10½ or 11 in this boot. An additional pair of insoles and heavy socks, and they were still way too big.

Good, light mud boots.

Bought two sets for my son and I and with in the first month he had holes in the bottom and side and the stitching on my pair is coming out. too late to return. This was normal use around the acreage. Cant believe Roper put their name on these cheap boots.

I like these boots, I hadn’t owned a pair of rubber boots in probably 35 years, I got tired of pressure washing and when finished my shoes would be completely soaked, bought these and they feel great, easy on and off. One thing I found out the run big size wise, I’m usually an 11-1/2, ordered a size 12 and had to return and get a size 11 which are still a little big, but that’s okay just wear some thick socks.

This is my second pair. I bought a pair of similar Ropers about 10 years ago. I only use them in my back yard or woods if it's wet. They held up well, but the right sole finally developed a crack. Better to get a pair now before the old boot allows water penetration. The new Ropers are several inches taller (mid calf) and have holes for easier donning. Typical neoprene type boot. Think scuba booties, only MUCH larger. As others have stated, these things are HUGE. I typically wear a 12, but I knew from experience and having a pair of size 11, to order smaller than my normal size for Roper. But even the 11 is a little too big. I figured a 10 would be a bit too small, so I'm sticking with the 11. The boots are a VERY generous D width, so unless your feet are very wide, expect them to swim in these things. All that said, these boots are perfect for slogging around the wet, then doffing in the garage. Easy to hose off. No maintenance. The only reason they're not getting five stars is because of the glaring size discrepancy.
