Beacon Stiffen Stuff Spray

I bought this hoping to use in my grass golf hat. Before, the heat and sweat would make the sides of my shaped hat droop after about 15-20 mins playing. I was leery at first thinking the sweat would wash off the product and again the sides would begin to droop, but they didn’t. It has held its shape very very well. I shaped my hat to where I wanted it, held it in place with a rubber band and sprayed the stiffener all over the area I needed it to hold. I let it cure for 2 days and reapplied just for good measure ( because as I said I was leery ) let it cure for another 2 days and played golf on the 3rd day and the stiffener has done its job. My rim never fell or drooped as I was fearing it might. The sweat never washed it off. My only “complaint” is that the bottle it comes in sort of caves in while your spraying. They really need to use a higher grade bottle for such a great product. Very glad I bought this.

This was terrible! The spray mechanism doesn't work for more than a few pumps and the solution drips down when you are trying to spray. I tried another sprayer but the solution clogged that up too. I had success pouring the solution into a paper cup and painting the fabric with it.

I had to pour the solution into a spray bottle here at home in order to use it. The sprayer on the bottle itself did not work at all. And, I have to add that after spraying the fabric items twice, (to the point of soaking) they are not nearly as stiff as I had hoped. Certainly nothing that could really stand on its own stiff, but rather as if it had been ironed nicely. Looking to put more of this product on the items, but not expecting a lot better result.

Works well to stiffen felt. Use in ventilated area. Dries quickly. Spray bottle not the best. Of two bottles purchased, only one worked.

This is a great product. I have a few straw hats that over the years have become limp and needed to be refreshed. Sprayed this on my hats and after a few hours of curing time they are as good as new. Great product and well worth the money.

The spray bottle stopped working after a few pumps. It would dribble down the bottle, all over my hands and floor. It kept getting worse and worse until the nozzle just stopped moving. So I gotta find a new bottle for it.

Really works well on straw hat, dries hard and clear leaves no stains!!
