Q: Is the bottom nonslip material?

Hello and thank you very much for your question. While the bottom of the mat does not have adhesive, the material is such that it does not slip when fitted to your cabinet. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions!

Q: What is the felt made of? Actual wool fibers or is it synthetic? Also, what would washing instructions be for this mat to keep them nice?

Hello and thank you so much your your inquiry! The felt is made of 100% polyester. When the GridMat needs to be lightly cleaned, we recommend that it be moderately hosed off. Use of a mild detergent with this method is optional. A moderate hose cleaning is sure to preserve the condition of the GridMat for an extended period of time. The GridMat is also 100% machine washable. When the mats require a deeper cleaning, we recommend the use of a washing machine at the Delicate/Slow speed setting. The GridMat can then be put in the dryer at the Delicate/Low temperature setting. We want your experience with the GridMat to be the absolute best. Q: Can I glue this on the the surface to permanently install it?

I wouldn't put glue on it. It stays without glue and doesn't ruin your surfaces. Love it.
