Amazing Achilles pain relief
I have tried so many other products. Products that failed miserably. I went to see a podiatrist and still no relief from the Achilles pain. I tried this product thinking to myself that it wouldn’t work, but I would still give it a try because I’m desperate for pain relief. It is truly an amazing invention. Who would have thought that something this simple could be the answer to my prayers. I highly recommend this product for Achilles tendon pain. I forget that it’s there and forget to take it off sometimes when I’m going to bed.

It really did work!
I was shocked that it worked, I was in the beginning of a mountain bike race when the tendon popped. I thought a rock had flipped up from my tire and hit my tendon... I made this purchase on a chance it could help, and it did...I wore it for every ride, training and race, after 6 months it allowed the tendon to heal!! I keep it in my gear bag just in case..

Good Strap for Basic Support
I’ve had recurrent Achilles tendinitis for more than 6 months. I’ve tried various straps, pads, ice packs, etc. This strap is one of only two products I’ve returned to frequently. Pros: Easy to use. Comfortable. Applies good, even pressure without increasing pain. Pressure is consistent and bearable both while sitting and walking (whereas some products are only effective in one state or the other). Cons: Placement can be tricky. This is the only issue I’ve had with this strap. Because it ties around just the ankle, it can be difficult getting it low enough to apply pressure in just the right place. However, when you do get it in the right place, it can slip after walking for even a small amount of time. It’s also awkwardly placed for wearing shoes - it gets in the way of the heel of shoes. That said, I feel like this strap is the only one that has helped ease any of the aches of my AT. It’s probably not as helpful for serious athletes or regular runners given the placement issues. But if you are not as serious an athlete, this is a good option for AT pain relief.

Meh
This might end up being useful, maybe, so I'm keeping it. But a longer strap would keep the velcro from being irritating where it hits skin. And the free gel packet (thanks, I guess?) has so little gel in it, and that dried up, that it looks like most of it leaked out somewhere. But maybe it's not a joke; I haven't tried it.

Great for Achilles Injuries. THIS WORKS!!!!
This really works. I am using it for an Achilles injury and Wow what a difference in mobility. This definitely reduces pain and helps in mobility. I use it in conjunction with a compression ankle support. This is simple item is worth every penny! It doesn't bulky or constricting at all.

See an orthopedic doctor before use
After I got partial tears in both of my Achilles tendons my doctor said to avoid these. I had bought them because a chiropractor told me to use them for my tendonitis. I did not notice any pain or comfort changes, but I used them anyways thinking the effects might be gradual. Well, I gradually tore both of my Achilles while wearing these on a run. All they do it put more strain on your tendon. The chiropractor said it’s just like tendonitis in the arm (tennis or golfers elbow), then the doctor explained that no it’s not because on your arm you are strapping to a large muscle group. On your leg you are just binding the tendon on its own. I recommend avoiding these unless you want to be out of commission for 6-12 weeks depending on the severity of the injury you get from using them. If you have pain in your Achilles, please see a an orthopedic specialist before injuring yourself more.

Finally no pain, I CAN WALK AGAIN!!
What is this magic??!! I haven't been able to walk without extreme pain for the last 2 years due to chronic achilles tendinitis. I skip outings with friends, haven't been able to go hiking which I love so much. My pain has led me to depression and weight gain due to inactivity, I've seen doctors about the achilles pain, PT, different kinds of ankle straps, use heat, ice, stretching, yoga, medication. These treatments don't work or work minimally and does not resolve the issue. I have seen this strap and always skip over it not believing such a small minimal strap could help but I was desperate and saw all the reviews. I gave it a shot. I ordered it. Recieved the ordered and immediately put on the straps. Still believing they were a waste of money, I kept them on and sat on my couch. I cant even tell I'm wearing them. I thought for sure this was a waste of money until I got up and went to the bathroom. ZERO PAIN!! I COULD WALK AGAIN!! I ALMOST WANT TO CRY!! I started walking all over the house in complete DISBELIEF. I wanna get up and run in circles! What is this magic? I'm never taking them off! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Not made to last.
I have had this item for 6 days. It does give some support to the achilles tendon but unfortunately it is poorly made. There is a pass through hole in the strap that makes the tightness adjustable which is a must. Unfortunately the material that goes against my skin is not sewed around the pass through hole so the velcro hooks start to shred it immediately. If they had only taken that simple step, this would be something that might last more than a week or two.

It does not hold onto the Achilles and slips upwards, waste of money I wouldn’t recommend

Love this Achilles Strap!! Unlike most others, it absolutely targets my sore, inflamed Achilles Tendon. I got the size recommended on the site, but found it was just not quite big enough, and one quick note to the Manufacturer and they had the next size up out in the mail to me in no time. I hope the Velcro holds tight, but if I DO need to replace it, I will definately come back & purchase it from this Vendor again. Thanks!~~~

Strained/Sprained my achilles 2 weeks back while playing basketball. Did all the usual stuff like apply icepack to the area every few hours, and sleep with my leg elevated etc... while there was improvements, but I was still walking with a bit of limp as the achilles and muscles around the lower leg/ankle felt very tense and if I were to try to strain the achilles more, it'll almost feel like my leg is gonna get a cramp. Just received this, put it on and tried to walk around... Wow! it almost feel as though my achilles was never hurt in the first place. (can still feel abit of pressure when I try to tiptoe though).. I'm truly impressed how such a small piece of strap can work miracles.
