Sturdy tripod, easy installation
I used this tripod with a 10 foot mast to hold a 2 m/70 cm amateur radio antenna. The tripod is easy to use and simple to tighten down the mask. Just make sure all the nuts and bolts are in place before climbing up on your roof

Great quality in tennis stand for your roof no matter what you're putting up there.
We've have this thing for our cell phone repeater for several years, still looks brand new with a quick rinse for the dust that we have on our farm. It's solid and stable and has not corroded at all. If you buy the right size pipe, you can replace the Mast portion with probably double the length without hurting anything if you need it to be taller, the base is sturdy and strong and as long as you seal around the flanges and screws you will have no roof leaks for years and years.

Perfect mount for SL "dishy"
I needed a way to mount my SL dishy about 8-9 ft above the roof peak to clear the tree line. This tripod was perfect. I used it in conjunction with the SL "ground mount pole" to get a final height of about 9 ft. I added two lengths of uni-strut to spread the legs over to the rafter 24" centers and secured them with 6" lag bolts then tar. Very securely mounted and not afraid of any wind. I was a little worried about long term wear on the alimunim rivets so I drilled them out and installed 1/4" bolts/nuts in about 12 locations. I pre-installed a guy-wire ring just in case, but it's been holding up great. This setup is solid and will probaby outlast me.On arrival the box was a bit damaged, but the tripod inside was wrapped and undamaged. Easy set up. It holds the center pole securely, but be aware the legs DO NOT fall on 24" centers, so you will have to use something to make them reach the rafters. Refer to the pictures.

It holds up, with a little work.
I knew I was going to be the person to push this thing. It didn't disappoint. Its already handled 80mph winds. I completely stripped it down, and replaced all the rivets with stainless bolts. While I had it apart, I gave it a powered coat job too.

5' tripod with a 6' pole = great antenna mount
I bought this to mount an Ubiquiti AMY-9M16 AirMax Yagi Antenna for a PTP bridge to a friend's house 7 miles away. The pictures of this tripod on Amazon show the feet in a weird position, but I happily discovered they all three swivel perfectly for any angled roof. I bought a pitch pad/lag bolt kit for this on Amazon, too.I was worried about the yagi bouncing or swaying because it juts out 4 feet from the pole, but it is rock solid with this tripod. It's a heavy gauge metal as thick as the pole of a chain link fence. Once I tightened the triple screws on each of the three levels of this mount it doesn't move at all.Went to Home Depot and bought a 6' Line Post (chain link fence stuff) which is 1-5/8" diameter for less than $10 and it fit perfectly in this tripod. I think the height from where it mounts to my roof to the antenna is almost 10'.Just the size I wanted for a really low cost.

Good Quality—But Made Better With Small Modification
After reading some reviews, I was worried about the feet being defective. But the item I received appeared to be defect free!Pros:-Sturdy steel legs, looks to be galvanized.-All hardware included, excluding feet mounting hardware.-Easy fold-out and up.-Feet all point in the same direction, so slanted roof mount is possible.-Two sets of supports (three points of mast contact) make for solid mast structure.-Removable metal cup on bottom center support, gives two mast mounting options.-Drilled holes in feet allow for three bolts/screws per foot for extra security.-All hardware appears (except legs) appears to be Yellow Zinc Chromate coated.**See important note about included hardware below**Cons:-Rivets securing supports to legs and center cup to supports seem cheap and possibly flimsy.-Not much else!To mitigate the weak-looking rivets, another reviewer suggested drilling them out and replacing them with bolts. I did just that, drilling out the center support rivets with a 1/4” size drill bit and using 1/4”-20 x 2” Grade 8 bolts/washers/locknuts in their place. Grade 8 is overkill and Grade 5 or 3 would suffice, but I have tons of Grade 8 around my shop. (The Grade 8 is also Yellow Zinc Chromate coated so everything matches as before.) I may drill out the leg rivets and replace those too, but we’ll see.I would not recommend this modification for a temporary, or installation where it will be set up and removed often. It would be a hassle to have to loosen all that hardware! But since I plan to mount this permanently into the ground, I need all the strength I can get.**Note on the included hardware: Though Yellow Zinc Chromate coated, it is NOT Grade 8 as indicated by the three-lines on the bolt heads (Grade 5). I would assume the nuts are also Grade 5, so please don’t let them get mixed in with your supply of Grade 8 hardware—easy to do as Grade 5 hardware is not typically Yellow Zinc Chromate plated.

Great product
This worked great for me. I am getting ready for Starlink (when I get mine). I ordered a guide wire and bushings to mount to an electrical struct to get off the roof to stop leaf build up. I could see where others suggest drilling out rivets and installing stainless bolt and nuts for a more lifetime installation could be beneficial.

Heavy Duty!
I purchased this to mount my extra large channel master antenna on my flat roof. I was very impressed with how heavy duty it is. I don't write many reviews, but this exceeded my expectations. I also bought the lag bolts and sealant from Skywalker. While they weren't a particularly good deal, they are just what I needed.
