save your money and the greif that comes with this bit
I have a few bits frim this manufacturer and they are perfect. This bit is well made but no spacers to make the opposing cut. ie pins and tails. Just try to do this by eye or even a depth guage and what you get is saw dust and a waste of perfectly good wood. I tried this out on some scrap and was disapointed to find there was no spacer for the proper offset. It was a waste of a good half hour of my time. I think I will just stick with my porter cable dove tail jig even though it does take up a bit of room on the bench. As my router table is almost dust free i thought this might be just the ticket. My ticket got punched on this one. The manufacturer need to go back to the drawing board on this bit. I done right this bit could save some time. Please send the bit to the address at the end of this message. We will accept it back for a refund. We would appreciate it if you would remove the negative feedback that you left of Amazon, as you are trying to use this bit in a way that it is not intended to be used. We have sold hundreds of this bits, without issue.I am happy that they are accepting it back but usning it in a manner it was not intended ? Bit goes in router table. adjust fence. cut wood with bit. very nice cut. ok now to do the opposing side so you can have a nice joint. eyeball it. no thank youThe factory wants me to remove the bad review. Well due to my moral compass I cannot do that as it would not fit my upbringing and i believe the public needs to know what i feel about this bit. It is well constructed out of quality materials and i do have other Infinity bits which i love. just not this one or any other brand in this type of bit.I have since bought the Incra I-box as I need accuracy above all else in my woodworking. Maybe if they would supply a measurement to show what the offset should be that would of made it better. but as it stands, this style of bit is not accurate enough for a joint. maybe a peice of metal that could be use to set up the cut and the offset. anything would be better then not knowing where to cut. Sorry but I can be a bit Anal when I am taking measurements. measure 3,4,5,6 times then cut hopefully only once.
