Spectrum Math, Grade 2

I got this to use in my homeschool curriculum. Very happy with it. Great for practice.

A great practice for math. Good daily structured practice. From easiest ti hardest. Highly recommended.

We used this for our second grade math and it went ok. I noticed my son would at times be frustrated with it because it lacked pictures/colors and he thrives on that. We switched math for third grade, but I left it at 5 stars because if your child thrives on doing equations without colors/pictures, this is perfect for them. It is more of a skills practice math workbook to keep math sharp.

Great book for 7 year old. He loves it! Each topic builds on the last one, so children don’t feel lost as the move forward . It covers most topics for this level. Definitely helps kids to gain confidence without feeling bored.

My son have severe dyslexia and adhd but he is actually very quick to understand math. The problems go in proper progression through the book, starting very simple and basic and moving to more complex. I appreciate the word problems as this is something that always needs extra help. Written very strait forward and easy enough to go step by step. If your child is a good reader I think this would be great supplement to your curriculum. For our needs, we are using this as out main math and supplementing around this!

We’ve used this for my daughter’s upcoming 2nd grade year. This was our summer math workbook and it is amazing! The book is a great quality, tons of math problems and the answers are in the back if you need them. Great to get the kids ready for the work ahead!

Good and useful Content

Just 15 minutes a day can really be a help in you child's math. The use of this book over the holidays, keeps the "learning slide" to a minimum.

Nice book very nice content for practice.

Provides explanations and gradually increases complexity. I’m bought these for my 3 kids (7, 9 and 11 YO) and they are able to work through it on their own most of the time. New concepts are explained quite well but you will probably need to assist with more complex ones.
