The flat part of the blade is actually 3-7/8" long and 1-7/8" wide. It is well crafted and well worth the money!

Q: Is this a square tip?

Yes, but the sides of the tip are rounded, not sharp. The blade is thin enough to remove cookies from a cookie sheet and sharp enough to cut through crusts. Great multi purpose kitchen tool.

Q: Are the dimensions correct? -seems like the spatula is rather short!
