Pennington Smart Patch Tall Fescue Mix 10 lb

I bought this instead of my usual Scott patch. It works very well Grass started growing after almost a week and is doing very well. At the end of the day it's a grass patch. You really never know until your try it. At this price it's more than worth it and I will be buying more.

I’ve had amazing luck in the past but this bag hasn’t grown one bit. So odd but I’m very disappointed. Can’t do a return because I used the whole bag so nothing to return. May have to move on to another brand.

Planted it out back right away. Worked just fine.

Great for fixing bare spots in yard

The seed mix worked in some spots and showed growth within a week, but other areas stayed patchy even with watering. It’s convenient, but results vary depending on conditions.

Last year we transformed our nothing but dirt backyard with sod well during the summer our grass died. We saw this brand and gave it a shot. One side of our yard that was nothing but dirt again has now turned into gorgeous dark green grass. It took a quick 3 months but this seed worked wonders and will continue to buy this seed to do any patch work.

There was no positive result . No new grass sprouts.
