3 Buttons Keyless Remote Key Shell for Chevrolet Avalanche Silverado GMC Sierra Yukon No Chips Inside (Black)

I bought this transmitter case to replace my original case which did not lock/unlock the doors when i pushed the button and also had one deteriorating button. When I cracked my original case open I notices that the little black contacts behind each button had been badly warn out but the transmitter inside the case was probably still functional. I bought three of these for a total of $25 and beleive me, well worth it. All I did was use a quarter to pry open the case, swap the transmitter from my original case and vuala!! good as new. The dealership wanted to charge me $80 just for a new transmitter and case assembly and an additional $50 to program them. I swapped the old case in my second transmitter and added a new battery and it looks as if I bought a brand new one from the OEM. the only thing I did notice about these new cases after I installed the transmitter in them is that one of the buttons seem just a tad bit sunk-in but I figure is just from wear and tear on the transmitter itself. Other than that I would highly recommend these to replace an old worn out case. usuall the transmitter inside are still good, its the contacts on the buttons that wear out before anything else. save yourself $130 per transmitter from the dealer.

Apparently i spilled something on my stock remote, which was faded and old looking anyway, so the buttons were sticking. When i unlocked my truck i had to beat the remote on my leg to get the button to come back out. I first started looking for a whole new remote until i ran across this product. It worked out perfectly for me. The insides of my remote were fine but the rubber buttons and plastic cover had just seen better days. I took the guys of my old one out, put them in this new case and it functioned perfectly. The reliability of the presses and response were even better. I'm assuming that whatever i got in there must have been keeping the button from making contact every time i pressed so the new rubber buttons made it much better. If your remote is just worn out or you have a sticking problem like me this is the product for you.

I have a 2005 Silverado and after all these years buttons fell off of one key fob and on the other one, it didn't seem to make a contact that would allow you to use it without mashing the heck out of it. I got these and popped open the old key fobs, took out the guts and popped them in the new ones and you would never know they weren't the original unless you had used the originals and knew they were ever so slightly different. Work as advertised. I would purchase again in a heartbeat. Why get a whole new unit you have to program when you can just get the case and change it out?

I have had my vehicle for about 5 years and the remote I have is a little beat up. The lock and unlock emblems have both been rubbed off. Chevy wanted to charge my $19.99 just for the shell so I said I’m good. I found this on Amazon for $7 so I purchased it. I didn’t pay attention to what kind of vehicle this was for before submitting. I received it and of course it was a little different than my current remote but rather than return it I just took what I needed out of it and placed it into my old remote and everything fit just fine. Thanx Amazon I always have a good experience!

This replaced my key fob case and buttons perfectly. My remote stopped functioning reliably due to buildup on the PCB contacts under the buttons and the buttons no longer returning (they were often stuck down after being pressed). I opened the old case, wiped the PCB contacts clean, put this case on and it works perfectly. I am completely satisfied! Upon close inspection to the injection mold marks, this appears to be slightly different than my original, the FCC ID is a different font, etc. However the quality and material is top notch, the same as the original or better.

This product did not cost to much money, if you have an old remote and want to have a new look it works good. Only down fall is that I had problem putting the front and back shell back together. After i put my chip and battery in it i could not get the 2 pieces to snap together. I took the chip and battery out and tryed to snap it together and it does fine with out the chip and battery. I ended up trying my old back shell with the new front shell and it snapped together fine. Still looks good. All that really matters is the front anyway. Cant really pass up the cost.

The symbols had completely worn from my wife's keyless remote for her Tahoe, and then one button came out and was lost. This shell fixed both problems after tucking her old electronics inside and closing it up. It looks and feels just like the original. My only complaint is one that others have mentioned. It was a little challenging to get the two halves to snap together. I couldn't pinch it hard enough with my fingers. I ended up putting it between a book and the kitchen table, and then pressing down on the book.

I purchased this item because the buttons on my remote started sticking & faded off. I did not know that replacement shells were available until I had seen it while purchasing another product on amazon(Thanks Amazon for suggesting the items that others purchase). This shell works great. I have a 2003 GMC pickup & the shell was perfect. Easy to swap the chip out of the old shell(came with small screwdriver but needed larger one to unsnap shell). If your keyless remote looks like the picture,this shell will work. I Highly recommend this product.
