Edison Spot Resist Stainless One-Handle High Arc 4-hole Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer and Soap Dispenser, 87042SRS

We have a very traditionally styled kitchen and this faucet fits in well. It replaced a shinier, more ornate set installed 15 years ago, but these days everything in stores is modern, so there weren't as many traditional choices as there were back in the early 2000s. This faucet is sleek enough that if we remodeled it would fit well into a more modern-looking kitchen, but it also has enough classic styling that it goes well in our traditionally styled early 2000s kitchen. The Spot Resist finish seems to be working well. We have had trouble with a couple of bathroom faucets becoming permanently spotted, even CLR and Lime Away haven't really helped them, which to me is a mystery as I have had good luck with those cleaners on water spots elsewhere in the house. Thanks to the Spot Resist finish on this faucet, we have no spots so far after having the faucet in about a month, but I will admit I have been trying harder to notice when the faucet is wet and then dry it off. But, there is something to the finish of this faucet that seems to deter spotting so I am very pleased about that. The finish has a soft glow -- it is listed as "stainless steel" but is a little darker and a bit less shiny than my stainless steel sink. It took me awhile to get used to it because the faucet this one replaced was chrome -- so I was used to seeing a bright shiny faucet there. I wouldn't say the finish has no shine but it is not as shiny as traditional stainless steel or the "brushed nickel" finish that has been very popular. It does have a brushed finish with a soft glow, and definitely does have some shine. I think the darker color and less shiny texture are probably due to the spot resistant finish. I would say it is worth it, as the faucet definitely is not spotting so far, and after a week or so my eyes became used to the more subtle look of this faucet compared to the bright chrome one I was used to seeing in that corner of the kitchen. This faucet was a bargain price compared to many we looked at. Our plumber installed it so I cannot comment on installation, but when we asked him before buying the new set, he did recommend that we go with either Moen or Delta for their combination of value, lasting quality and ease of installation. So far this set is working well. The sprayer is actually metal (very lightweight, but actual metal), our last one was plastic painted to look like chrome. The soap dispenser can be filled from the top -- just pull off the top pump piece and refill without having to crawl into the lower cabinet and fumble around in the dark.

Moen never disappoints and in this case they have exceeded expectations. Beautiful Faucet, great water flow, easy to clean, separate sprayer performs perfectly & with no mounting plate it’s a classy look. We also appreciate that the water temperature setting stays the same until you change it, unlike 2 separate handles type of faucet. We’ve experienced excellent water pressure with the stand alone sprayer with no threat of facing a complete product replacement should it fail. It doesn’t drip after use, pulls out and returns to its place with ease with a 28” length measured from the counter top to the sprayer nozzle. I recommend Moen, and the Edison model faucet is excellent, checks all the boxes.

Looks good and was fairly easy to install, replacing an existing 4 hole faucet set. 4 stars due to several pieces being plastic.

The packaging is wonderful the instructions are very easy to read and follow we had no problem installing the faucet also comes with a helpful tool for the hard to reach areas and it is absolutely beautiful

Looks great, competitive price with “Big Box” stores, and arrived quickly without my needing to go miles away to a “Big Box Store”. Plumber easily installed for me. Highly rated brand that we have been happy with before. It was a large box and we appreciate that the delivery person thoughtfully put it at the back door, so it didn’t sit in front of the house for a long time till we returned later in the evening. ❤️👏👍🏼

I bought this because of it's traditional form, we did not want an integrated sprayer. It seemed OK but at about 7 months the hot water supply just slowed to a trickle very suddenly. I know that minerals in our water can cause a lime scale buildup but it takes years not months. Moen has a section of their website devoted strictly to cartridge replacement so I ordered one under warranty. They were responsive, communicative and offered coupons for additional products. Unfortunately a week + later it hasn't arrived so I was forced to buy one locally because we need the kitchen faucet. I figured I'd just keep the extra as a spare. When I went to change it yesterday I found it was an incredibly cheap and flimsy hunk of plastic and no matter what I cannot get it to seal properly. I have experience with these, this is not my first trip to the rodeo by a long shot. I've had to let it trickle all night so it doesn't flood my countertop. I note that this identical product appears under other names and prices and is widely available. Avoid them all, in my opinion. Today I will have to buy a cheap builder grade two handle faucet just so I can have a functional kitchen sink again until we figure out what we will buy next This unit replaced a Kohler faucet that sat there for 20+ years that only required cartridge replacement once. Their build quality is notably superior and their customer service excellent. I use their products exclusively, they can be pricey but you actually get something worth the money. I do not work for them nor does any family member, I have no dog in that fight it's just that they have proven themselves over time. They simply don't make the style we like anymore but we will revisit that. This proves the old adage 'buy cheap buy twice'. I regret this purchase and talk about pouring money down the drain ..............

This kitchen faucet was a replacement for a 30-year old system. The Moen system was easy to install and works as expected. The volume of water from the Moen faucet seems slightly less the the old system, but not problematic. I would recommend this system.
